Our party of four booked initially to stay overnight on our way South to Aveyron, but because of a mess-up with our ferry crossing we had to change at very short notice (ie: the same day) to a stopover on the way back. This was done very quickly and efficiently over the phone (Carole, the co-cowner, speaks very good English).

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and unpretentious (although not bright, ritzy and modernised - in fact, it might perhaps be used for a 1950's film-set?) and our hosts were very friendly and acommodating. Although the restaurant was not operating on the Sunday evening of our arrival (a large wedding-party had been catered for earlier that day), we were provided with an excellent cold collation on trays, which we chose to eat in the garden in the evening sunshine, followed by a stroll down to the nearby river (La Thaurion).

We appreciate the service we received and shall certainly stay at L'Air du Temps again when in the area. more
