This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the price is very good value for money. We have a holiday cottage rental business and recommend our guests to Le Flots Bleus. All our guests normally make a second visit to it before they go home and love it. Make it a must visit eatery... The hotel is on the riverside by a medieval church. Very picturesque location. Our room was tiny but nicely decorated in purple tones and its name was "Clarisse". We didn't have a view but rooms on the front do. Breakfast is 9 Euros and very good value - buffet and a coffee machine.Staff very friendly and hotel restaurant serves French cuisine.The... More

We stayed here for two nights on our way south. The hotel is in a really beautiful spot next to the river ( I suggest book as early as possible to get a room at the front) The hotel was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and helpful ( they even posted on the jacket we left behind) The food... We went to this restaurant twice in the last week - it serves great food, in style, but prices are still sensible - with staff that are friendly but efficient and professional. The restaurant was refurbished a few years ago and it is contemporary, stylish and has that "je ne sais quoi" about it. Furthermore, it is in a fabulous... More

Our room had only a small view of the river, but from the restaurant area, or outside bar area, it was magnificent. The room worked extremely well - wall hanging space for clothes, then a very good-sized cupboard next door with deep shelves, ideal for spreading out clothers and other bits and pieces. Good working desk with 2 chairs. Bathroom... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The location by the river is fantastic. We used the day to explore sites close to Beaulieu. The room was clean with a deck where we could eat. Internet worked well. The hosts were informative and helpful, even though language was somewhat of a barrier. The only negative was the size of the... More

We spent a night here at the start of a walk in the Dordogne. Location on the edge of the river and the old town is wonderful. Friendly staff. Also they are serious about their cuisine. Recommend unreservedly

We arrived here in torrential rain - just an awful day but this little hotel nestling next to the Dordogne is a gem. Nice rooms - very helpful staff - a well-stocked bar and best of all a really excellent restaurant. Travelling with a vegetarian companion as I do can be difficult in France but here it was no problem... More

Returning to this beautifully located hotel again this year (our seventh visit) we were not disappointed. The staff are welcoming, our room was comfortable (good big bed) and the food excellent. The restaurant is well laid out and partly outside so you can choose with the weather. There is a good terrace above for the use of guests which overlooks... More

We arrived late but where impressed by the couple of owners advising us about their availability hours for check-in through the booking agent (booking.com). As their own restaurant was closed that evening they recommended us another place in the village and made the reservation for us. Breakfast was the regular continental breakfast in a clean and pleasant setting. The only... More
