As a professional business consultant and hotel-tester I had just completed a six month testing series for a German hotel goup and stayed privately at this hotel for five days two years ago with my youngest daughter. It was so bad - apart from the friendly staff doing there best in a lousy situation - that there was no point... more

Very small rooms, we spent 5 nights with 2 children in a 'family room', I have more space in my own master bedroom @ home than in the 'family room'. Swimming pool : dirty and old, hotel the same : old. In the flyer : completely restored, still searching what they have restored. We go on holiday to enjoy the... more

Rooms and service were average. The breakfast was disappointingly sparse. It was very warm in the room but the sulphur smell from the nearby paper mill made it unpleasant to have the window open. Staying here was OK, but with so many more charming options in the area, I will stay elsewhere next time. more

The rooms were fine, updated, quaint looking, but REALLY SMALL. It was very hard to manuever around the room. Nice sitting area downstairs to gather though. Free internet on a computer there. Staff was helpful, except for the lady in the kitchen would yell at us in French if we were in the wrong spot. Group was feed very little... more

My experience was not dissimilar from most of the other reports. The rooms are small and in need of renovation and hotel in general could do with sprucing up a bit. Saying that though I found the staff to be helpful and patient, English is not wildly spoken this far south in France and my own French is rusty to... more

IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A 3* HOTEL DON"T HOLD YOUR BREATH,the staff were very friendly and helpful but the hotel was very dated, filthy walls in our room, dark and dingey bathroom, old furniture, we had two single beds bolted together as a double & my son had a well worn single, for a family room it was way too... more

Read other reviews which were very useful. The- rooms of good size; very clean, and the Manager - Lauren -has good English - worked in UK 5 Years - Edinburgh and Wiltshire and was very helpful throughout. The Food was a very great find - chef Rudoph Belinguer fully trained and experienced, uses provencal concepts to develop new dishes and... more

The hotel is situated on a busy road, but you don't hear it in the rooms. The pool is okay but you can hear the noise of the road very well, what is not relaxing. The rooms are small, but clean. The staff is doing there best to meet every need. There is not always someone at the bar. The... more

rooms clean, but badly organized unable to use draws in wardrobe as the door fouled with the bathroom door so could not be opened. Unable to purchase a drink at the bar one had to go and find the staff which sometimes took 10 minuites. The food was nothing special which was dissappointing, it was if everything was prepared at... more
