A beautiful and peaceful site. Friendly, relaxed service and delicious home made jams at breakfast. Leisure focused so less mod-cons than other hotels (e.g. short reception opening hours, tea/coffee facilities in shared kitchenette) but a lot of that just adds to the sense of serenity. It definitely would suit a long weekend or could use it as a base to... More

Thank you for your comments, they seem to sum up our establishment and home well. Being 6kms from the 2 closest towns means just a small drive to a choice of restaurants and with Arles, Nimes, Avignon and the UNESCO classified Pont du Gard only 20 kms+ away makes us a great place for tourism. Our reception hours from 8.30-19h... More

We have just returned from a lovely week at Domaine des Clos during April (family of 4 with 2 young kids) staying in the Camargue apartment. The apartment was light, spacious and well-appointed. As others have remarked, the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is charming and is set in delightful, well-maintained grounds. Some of the... More

What a perfect, peaceful retreat in the French countryside - we will return again without a doubt! We stayed in one of the regular rooms (the blue room, which was wonderful), but they also have 2 larger suites and even larger apartments. Sandrine and David are wonderful hosts. Daisy (the dog) is a joy as well!

Was great setting but actually difficult to find. We were biking for our 25th wedding anniversary and took us a while to find it. My wife and I were one of only two guests at end of October, so we got an upgraded room to a suite. Beautiful old chateau with great service. Nice pool. Thoroughly recommend it

Domaine des Clos is beautifully developed and well maintained. We stayed for a week as a family with young children - enjoying the very nice pool and an array of games from boules to table football. Plenty of historic and adventurous activities are in easy reach too. Only two issues - be prepared for the mosquitoes and wasps, and don't... More

Highly recommend. Definitely a very lucky find. A wonderful stay here away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Domaine is a beautiful setting and accommodation. The grounds are so well kept. The location is superb. The hosts David and Sandrine and all staff are so welcoming, always cheery and attentive to peoples' needs. The home-made breakfast jams... I was really desperate to find a quiet and nice area in Provence in August: too expensive, too ugly, full ... by chance, I found this one. What gold nugget ... Beautiful gardens, large pool, spacious room, decorated with taste, great breakfasts and attentive hosts. Fluent in English (for non French) A true discovery which I will treasure address Perfectly... More

Like so many others we found the whole set up outstanding here. Our apartment was wonderful in its lay out, however found that as a self catering apartment it was lacking in a few items in the kitchen department, raised our concerns regarding this and was met with a possitive responce along with action to improve the short falls right... I spent several months (yes, months!) researching a suitable place for a small party to rent in a great location and came across Domaine de Clos by chance on www.sawdays.co.uk. It ticked all our boxes, very central location for touring as mentioned in previous reviews, within very easy reach of Arles, Nimes, Camargue, Avignon and Nimes Airport and superb value (compared... We absolutely LOVED Domaines de Clos and consider ourselves lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here. A converted old vineyard with charm, our two level apartment is complete with a kitchen and living area, two spacious bathrooms and a wonderful eating area. The grounds are spectacular complete with Cyprus trees, oleanders, olive and apricot trees and a vineyard.... More
