We stayed here for a week while visiting the island in May and enjoyed our stay, particularly the location of the hotel and the wonderful view from our room looking out over the Mediterranean to the Isle of Elba. The room and facilities were comfortable as you would expect of a hotel of this type. The restaurant food was excellent... More

We had high expectations for this place, having read previous reviews. However, the rooms are cold, dingy and in need of renovation (no proper shower), the wifi is near useless and even then only available in the lobby, and there was no hot water in the afternoon before dinner. The service was indifferent, albeit this is France after all and... More

Room 11, superior room, two flights of stairs up from reception, with a nice side-way view of the sea. It was a large room with very large bed, 2 chairs, 2 night stands, desk, wall mounted TV and luggage rack. Large built in closet along inside wall. Large bathroom with soap and shampoo. Bed and bathroom linens were good, 4... More

We stayed here for one night in April 2014. The welcome was nice and professional, and the lady who checked us in was very pleasant, professional and stylish. We were a bit surprised to learn that we could not have dinner since it was a Monday. They could only serve dinner for long term guests on half board. The only... More

Room should really be refurbished, but was clean. Service top, and the food in the restaurant excellent, and this for fair prices, comparared to what we have experienced inother places of this island. Over all: We would come again!

This is a nice hotel in a charming spot. The room was rather basic but comfortable enough, The small outdoor pool was a nice surprise. Dinner was good even if trying a little too hard for my liking - if I stayed again I'd probably eat at the restaurant/pizzeria in the village which I think they also own. Breakfast was... More

My wife and I loved this hotel in the hills north of Bastia. The room was excellent, a good pool and dinner in the charming restaurant with a nice view of the sea was outstanding. Free parking is provided. 40 minutes to airport.

Stayed one night after flying into Bastia. Very basic and small room. Creaky bed, holes in bedspread, table with two iron chairs, one easy chair with very grubby cover. Bathroom small with bath and hand-held shower but no shower curtains so floor got wet. Plenty of hot water and facilities were clean. Wonderful view over village and sea. However the... More

Yes, this hotel sits on a winding, steep mountain. It's owned by a wonderful family who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The rooms are quaint but provide beautiful views on the sea and surrounding hills. The food is good and very fresh. Desserts are of Corsican nature. The staff even prepared a tray for us to take... The drive to La Corniche was a little hair raising on the narrow, windy Corsican roads however, upon arrival we were well rewarded with the most magnificent view from our room to the the Isle of Elba. The lovely restaurant located on the terrace is superb and the food is equally very good. It is only a short walk down... More
