Very,very,very disappointing. The hotel is about 7 Km inland from where san martino di lota is shown on a map. It proclaims itself as having a gourmet restaurant - the reason we chose it. The first night the restaurant was closed to hotel guests for a private event.This is apparently not unusual.Instead we were directed to the only place to... more

We spent a week at this charming hotel in the hills enjoying the peace and tranquility of the surrounding countryside. The only sounds being the church bell and the swifts. We had only one night at the Hotel La Corniche but we really loved our experience. The room was beautiful- very spacious and clean with a balcony/ patio overlooking the town and the Mediterranean. Long April weekend for lovers in a romantic place. Chose it for very beautiful location and non-excessive price. Stayed there three nights but would have run away just after seeing the bathroom! Stayed here during the busiest part of August and yet high up above Bastia in San-Martino you can hear a pin drop. Church and goat bells dominate. As well as the comfortable but basic en suite rooms, excellent food and pleasant service there is a small swimming pool and garden with some shady corners. Breakfast and dinner are served on... more

We stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2004. The hotel and family owners are charming. The rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped. Every room has a wonderful view down to the sea.
