Only stayed in this fabulous chateau for one night sadly, but it was wonderful. Staff helpful, room large, luxurious and comfy- great shower-wish it had a bath though! Dining experience was delightful- amazing food, wine, service and setting. Good value- would we visit again? Most definitely!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Chateau d'Igé and had a wonderful experience! We highly recommend the place. People are nice and helpful, the owner of the place takes care of everyone and gave us good advice on places we should book to celebrate the "vin d'honneur" we couldn't celebrate in the castle's "orangerie". And the food is... More

this historic chateau has a charm that cannot be falsly created. This is real. The service is matching the grandeur of the property. Looking out of my tower at dawn i looked upon an elegantly attired gent washing the cars of the guests that had stayed overnight. The food & wines are exceptional. I had eight companions & everyone felt... More

We stayed 1 night in this charming chateau in the small quiet village of Ige on our way from Dijon to Lyon. Our room was large (Hirondelle suite). While we weren't surprised that there was no fridge, NOTHING was supplied in the way of glasses, tea making facilites, etc. Had there been a welcoming bar we would have been happy... More

We were looking for a charming stop over on our way south of France and based on the reviews and the hotel site, we had high expectation. The chateau itself is beautiful but the inside is somewhat dark and no so appealing. there is no elevator and the stairs to the first floor are steeps and worn out; It is... More

My wife and I stayed one night at this establishment on our way from the Dordogne to Burgundy. The hotel was clean, comfortable, roomy, and quiet. The main reason for the stay was that it had a Michelin starred restaurant which was excellent. The unique part of the restaurant is that you are escorted to a nice room in order... More

Dear Sir, We have read your comments carefully. Your explanations are right but I want to add something to it. We hadn't used the regular channel Booking.com to notify at first our cancellation because it was the first time we had to cancel a booking from Booking.com and we didn't know that we have to tell them first and after... Delightful little chateau with lovely gardens. It is the kind of place one dreams of owning and is small enough to have an intimacy about it which is most attractive. The staff were all friendly and pleasant and the owner welcomed us personally. We enjoyed relaxing in the grounds and had a magnificent meal. We shall certainly return if we... More

Let it be said...I reviewed this Chateau some years back and we revisited last month. Like a fine that gets better with age, so does the Chateau D'Ige. Most of the wonderful staff has remained the same and the new staff is charming and well-versed in their crafts! About 3 1/2 hours from Paris, by car, this is a great,... More
