We spent two lovely days at this hotel. It is very well taken care of, our room was delightful, mattress and bathroom details excellent. The lady who manages it and her staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great dinner the first night, but after a big meal for lunch somewhere in the region the manager suggested we could... More

This is a really cute place! Everyone was very friendly and tried to speak English with us. The food was amazing but costly. The grounds are beautiful and the surrounding towns as well. There really are not other restaurants around and no night life so just know what to expect. It is very quiet and relaxing~no hustle and bustle. The... More

After a small snafu when we arrived (the room we booked online the day before was not available) we settled in to a suite room on the ground floor changing the next day to one of the tower suites which was fabulous, large with an four poster bed and a small sitting room upstairs in the turret. This is a... More

Thank you for your comments on Trip Advisor. As you have said it is always better to book in advance with us to ensure you have the room you want. With regards to the problem of the overcooked beef, I would like to give my sincere apologies for the error in not deducting it from your bill .It was a... More

We stayed two nights here and did two great walks from the hotel. The chateau is beautiful and we stayed in the Poets room which is in one of the towers, you reach the room via a stone spiral staircase. The dining room is split into three areas making it cosy whilst maintaining a luxury feel. The grounds are not... More

A single night only at this fine hotel. Excellent dinner and wines in a delightful room. Table service was somewhat indifferent, but this was a busy evening. Modern bathroom but uncomfortable beds in a fairly small room for the price. Lovely countryside surrounding. Beware the winding staircase for the infirmed !!!

A great hotel with impeccable service, especially for France. We stayed in the tower with two floors, and the bottom floor was beautiful, with a modern bathroom and an amazing "princess" style bed, as well as a large closet and sitting area. The top floor was like a tower, but I didn't like the beds very much. The hotel grounds... More

We stayed at the chateau for one night after a friend recommended it to us. It's a beautiful, peaceful place. Since we are a family with two kids, we stayed at the tour, where we had a two story room. The kids upstairs and we had a "princess" bed. The room was really nice, transferring us mentally to the Middle... More

We stopped overnight at the Chateau d'Ige, to break up the journey back to the UK from Tuscany. We were very pleasantly surprised on our arrival. The building has been beautifully, and very sympathetically restored. The rooms are all different, very clean, comfortable, large bathroom - and quiet! It was an exceptionally warm night so we asked the Maitre'd if... More

We were lucky enough to stay at the Chateau for four nights this spring. I did not add a review because I had nothing but more superlatives to add. But after reading a review which mentioned an upgrade I did want to write that we were on a regular package and found everything top notch--the amenities, the room, the service... More
