We stayed here for a week, when visiting wineries in the Burgundy area. If you are looking for red carpets, glitz, gold bathrooms and top-hatted bell-boys, then don't go. Villa Louise was a disappointment. Beaune and Burgundy were not! Aloxe-Corton is a small village that is a 10 minute drive from Beaune. We were looking for a mid-priced property and selected Villa Louise based on the TripAdvisor reviews we had seen. Comfortable room, huge bed, flat screen TV, loads of hot water and big fluffy towels. Quiet location very close to Beaune. Very friendly reception staff who recommended a wonderful local restaurant. Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the wine growing region. We stayed in several hotels in the area and this was definately the best.
