We stayed at Sultan's Palace after safari in kenya. The staff especially the manager Sylvia were great and so accommodating. The chef prepared vegetarian meals for my husband - and every effort was made to make our stay perfect - this is a quiet hideaway - very few suites but magnicient surroundings. A perfect stop for a restful and romantic... more

We stayed at Sultan Palace from 3 March to 10 March 2007 to get a needed break from long European working hours. The resort has 1) beautiful location and scenery; 2) relatively few lodges which we think is nice; 3) friendly and warm staff always providing good service (who never even remotely tried pick up my wife – ref. the... more

we had a very relaxing time at the Sultan Palace over New Year's 2002/2003. What my boyfriend at the time complained about seemed charming to me: there were no tv's or cd players in the rooms. there is also no swimming pool and i read in more recent reviews that the hotel promised a pool "next year" and that's just... more

We went to the Sultan Palace for 4 days at the end of our honeymoon (after 4 days at the Bluebay which were average). We were immediately upgraded to an imperial suite (with direct beach access) because there was availability. Since it was early afternoon and we hadn't had lunch, they offered to bring lunch to our room and we... more

1. Great location. 2. Beautifully appointed and decorated in an Arabic style. The suite we stayed in was massive and very comfortable. 3. Excellent food and drink. The cocktails are superb. Although we went all inclusive drinks were extra but reasonably priced. 4. A very personal atmosphere and service. Staff are helpful, genuine and easy to communicate with. They bent... more

Wow . . . this place is amazing!!!!!!!! After months of research my wife and myself finally decided on staying at Sultans for our honeymoon. And what a great choice it was. We stayed in the Imperial suite, which is facing the ocean. The rooms themselves are massive, with two four poster double beds, lots of lounging areas (all with... more

We cannot recommend Sultans palace enough. We went for part of our honeymoon and is was amazing. The management and staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our villa was roomy and cool, the view was spectacular, The food was very generous (we had to start skipping a course at lunch!) and we were treated so well.... more

We stayed at Sultan's Palace for our honeymoon it was magical. To say that the staff are charming and helpful is an understatement. The beach had the finest whitest sand that I have encountered and I am a seasoned beach goer. Our suite (Papaya) was enormous complete with two king size beds, giant dressing room and bathroom and lovely balcony... more
