Dear 499alpha, Thank you for your review. First of all I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused during your stay. I would also like to point out the sound you heard was from " Baby Bush " AKA Galagos or Nagapies. They are small, nocturnal primates native to continental Africa, and make up the family Galagidae. They are... More

The hotel is situated about 15-20 min drive (in you own car) from Stone Town. One can easily catch local transport into town (+-30 min drive). The hotel is great for the price. So if you would like to see Stone Town but also have access to the north of the island then this hotel is perfect. We enjoyed our... More

The island of Zanzibar offers a lot for those that want to take a vacation.Apart from the natural beauty of the island and the friendly people the island offers you a journey into the past that has been preserved as far back as the slave period. This can only be fully enjoyed if you are staying at a place that... More

I had gone there with a bunch of friends and this has been our third time staying at Furaha The thing we like most about the hotel is that it's not a huge hotel The rooms are very good sized The swimming pool is nice and clean The beach is good as always

We stayed over 5 nights in zanzibar. Needless to say we were clueless with the routes ways and best things to do. Thats where their manager/owner stepped in. Extremely friendly and helpful chap always trying to forsee what we might need and trying his best to help us in every possible way. Simply loved the zanzibar experience! !

Stayed for several days with five friends in Furaha just out of Stonetown. The rooms are fantastic and comfortable. The resort, staff and food are fantastic, especially Hussein. Furaha is underpriced from the quality of the accomadtion and is highly recommended.

Stayed here over Christmas with three friends. It was the the best Christmas ever that began with a very warm welcome at the airport on transfer to hotel by the hotel driver. After the drive off the main road at Bububu, my friends were already disappointed and thought the hotel was local and remote. A minute or so later the... More
