We have just spent 4 nights at malaria-free, Clearwater Kudu Lodge, which was recommended to us by a friend, as having all the luxurious comforts you require in a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Exactly what we experienced. We stayed in the two bedroom (both en-suite) family unit. Lovely large bedrooms and bathrooms and three patios overlooking the savannah (where we saw... More

Terry's attitude just makes this place one to go back to. The food is awesome, home cooked and heart The lodge is gorgeous, set right on a watering hole The rooms and little slices of heaven The game in the park is magic I could not think of a better spot in the bush to be, loved it

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Clearwater Kudu lodge and we are already checking our calendars to see when we can return. Everything about the lodge is exceptional. We stayed in the family room which is massive with two extremely large rooms with their own bathrooms. The food was delicious and plentiful and nothing was too... More

We celebrated our wedding anniversary. Our hosts Hamish and Terry were very hospitable. Hamish have loads of knowledge about the area and animals. Welgevonden game reserve is a beautiful area and have various different vegetation and loads of animals. The accommodation is excellent, beautiful room and bathroom (also with outside shower). Delicious meals and all beverages included. The watering hole... More

We went here with my family, and really enjoyed the place. We had some very good game viewing, but game density was not like it is in other places. With that said, the game that we did see was exceptional. The size (only ~10 guests) makes this place great. The unfenced experience is also very cool with plenty of game... More

Stayed two nights at the Clearwater Kudu lodge, and the place is just magic. The lodge is a non fenced lodge which means that you will see wild animals in the camp and if you are lucky hear lions roar in the night. The lodge is on a all inclusive basis and the food and wines are really nice. Hamish... More

I stayed at Kudu lodge for two nights with some friends and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, with the great friendly service it really felt like home. Even if there were more people staying the place is still large enough that you could get privacy if that’s what you wanted. The individual cottages were large... More

Like most Welgevonden lodges, Kudu is a small (10 guest) establishment which can foster intimacy with the people you've come with, allow you to form new friendships, or rapidly tire of those who happen to be there with you. The rooms are attractive and reasonably well equipped: we had a giant bath as well as the obligatory outside shower. The... More

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Tshetshepi Lodge. We absolutely loved our time there. The lodge is very small and intimate.... 4 rooms in total. So you almost feel like guests at a friend's game farm.... a very luxurious and elegant game farm at that! Our room was exquisite..... complete with enormous bath tub, indoor and... More
