Stayed 2 nights in single room 106 and the first night in single room 105 - all at $15 USD a night. Very centrally located and a nice sitting / dining area to relax in on the ground floor (which was also relatively cool). WIFI had its moments but gets a pass mark overall. Had the vegetable noodles for dinner... More

Don't expect fast service here, but that seems like part of the Somaliland experience. The free breakfast is really good, and huge. The rooms all have fans, and have a good view of the used goods and money-changers on the street. The beds are comfortable enough, the bathrooms were very nice. Also the free wifi was a plus! The owner... More

We picked this hotel based on the Lonely Planet review but had a series of problems with the hotel. First, we were told there was no shuttle service. When we got to the airport, the taxi driver monopoly wanted to charge us $20 for the 10 minute ride to the hotel!! (Keep in mind, that's a few days salary for... More

a very central location...roll out of the hotel and you are in the mix of things. dozens of money changers are across the street. this is an old-world hotel, that has never been updated since. the room was tidy and clean. but nothing special. there is a central covered courtyard to relax, drink coffee, and eat. decent wifi and free... The positive thing is tje central position and prices.Near you you will find everything fron restaurants to supermarkets.Cars to berbera depart from a place near the hotel. The manager Abdi was very helpfull except for trying to organise unnecesarily expensive trips to las geel for me. They wanted twice the amount that i ended up paying. The food in the nice courtyard restaurant was not good either. I guess they cant cook western food very well. The orange juice however was delicious. I ended up spending the... More

The hotel is in the centre of Hargeysa, which is good for those who want to have a feel of the city and really take in as much as possible. It's also very reasonably priced (I paid 15 dollars per night). However, you should be really patient some times and ready to 'go with their flow', if you want to... More
