Stayed here twice, to and from Guines Bissau. Second time they were booked, but called all the guests that hadn't checked in and found us a spot. So kind. Wifi works in rooms, a cooling glass of Bissap juice on arrival, and a decent restaurant - les tourists, ten feet across the street. Pool nice. They will change euros fir... More

The hotel staff was excellent. It's far enough away from the water that you can stay outside at night with no or very little mosquitoes. The pool is cold but refreshing. It's very close to several good places to eat, and drink. The vendors just outside are the very best, and extremely helpful.

Flamboyant is the typical hotel for business man: clean but very impersonal. the receptionist that received us was strict and pretended the money immediately (the only time in our journey) - we were tired from the journey and we had to go to the atm, we asked her to wait a bit, just the time to recover. looked like we... I don't understand why travellers have such a high opinion on this hotel. The rooms are big without mosquito nets and full of mosquitoes.Every evening they spray your room so after this it really smells bad and you have to pray that the mosquitoes will not come. For an air con room you pay more but you cannot really use it since... I can't see why people are so enthousiastic about this hotel. It lacks all charm. The rooms are good and clean, even hot water, the wifi works OK, but that's all I can say in it's favour. As the hotel has a swimming pool, but not any kind of sitting area, bar or restaurant, there is not much else to... More

Stayed in this hotel for a night. This is a 3 star hotel in this city and is very nice. The room tariff is reasonable. The rooms are fairly large and the toilets are clean. There is wi-fi throught the hotel. It has a small swimming pool for the guests which is a bonus. The Breakfast is decent. Not much... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, a little charm goes a long way when you're starved of it. It feels like something out of a Tennessee Williams play, a little eccentric and louche but with character. Common areas very nice, immaculately clean throughout and good air-conditioning (with mosquito nets in large rooms), a nice streetside terrace for people... More

We spent one night here last week. It was priced well, good a/c, wifi, restaurant was good. We felt very comfortable and safe during our stay. We were on a 10 day trip thru Senegal and Gambia and found this to be a great location for the limited time we spent in this town.

From the time I arrived to the time I left, I felt welcome. Because the hotel was very cheap (25 euros/night) I expected it to be average but I was really surprised. The staff was excellent, especially the two women at the reception. Always warm and welcoming and very helpfull with good advice and directions. The room was clean and... More

I loved this hotel! It was such a deal for the price, and in an awesome location in downtown ziguinchor. The service was impeccable and so friendly, and as a 25 year old girl traveling alone I felt totally safe! I'll absolutely recommend Flamboyant hotel to friends and family!
