A good apartment - name grotto. Two separate beedrooms and a wonderful balcony. The reason why its only gets two stars is: a terrible bad cleaing of the apartment. The frezzer, the sink and the toilet did not work okay. If the management had fixed this it would have been a four star.

The most terrible experience is not enough to express the nightmare that I was involved. The breakfast is with bees. The bedroom and bathroom with thousands of mosquitoes. No solution to prevent the mosquitoes from being in your bedroom. Disrespectful and completely unjustifiable attitudes from the manager that runs the hotel.

Georg has a great thing going here where the diveshop is part of the hotel. I went for two lovely dives, essentially right underneath the hotel. This is a lovely area, and the combination of scuba and your own private bay is just too wonderful for words.

I've stayed here with my family for 2 weeks around Christmas and NYE. I'm not sure if the word resort is the right name, I would consider King Fisher as a hotel/appartment complex. First week we stayed at the Grotto, a beautifull appartment overviewing the bay. The terrace is really nice (all day long sunny). Right underneath the terrace is... More

This is a Paradise in Tarrafal. We had 2 sharing apartments with a great terrace overlooking the sea with sundowner. Very big and very nice. Very nice German man who runs the resort. Lots of restaurants in the village, especially the Spanish one. Again!!!!

The kingfisher has a wide selection of apartments to suit your tastes. Most of them with balcony, you can book the one you like from their own website, and breakfast for an extra €8, a bit expensive but well worth it. They their own diving company on the premises, which is very good value. Swimming in the bay under the... More

The Kingfisher has very good and spacious appartments - all with a balcony facing west and with sea view. The location is on the outskirts of town, it's a 20 minute walk from the beach and from the center. Service is okay, but not impressive. Breakfast is EUR 8,50 per day. A better choise is to get fresh bread delivered... More

We stayed at Rotunde appartment, which is a round appartment with windows opening to sea at all sides. On the roof there is partly shaded terrace with great seaview, two comfortable sunbeds and a table. The room has an outdoor kitchen that we didnot use (no kitchenware, but probably if you ask they will supply). The whole terrain of the... More
