We stayed a week in a small cottage, more or less on the beach which is absolutely fabulous. The hotel and the cottages are very basic, no extras, but it's very clean and nice. The restaurant serves very well cooked food. Breakfast is a little poor, though. Staff does unfortunately spek almost no English or other languages so that is... More

a great Place By the stunning beach, praia de Chaves. Only few steps from bed to sand. Bungalows facing sunset. The area has not much services so a half-board is a good choice. And there is daily shuttle bus to Sal Rei. A video in YouTube: http://youtu.be/JISFmK_cWiA

Loved loved loved the resort. Hotel is basic without any tingletangle. But good pool, excellent beach. The surrrounding well taken care of. Friendly staff, daily transportation to the village. Homefood, some dishes suprisingly gourmet standard. Like the goat cheese with papaya jam. No cars, only one heavily screaming child. Wlan in some areas. Want to go back. Rooms 2 stars... More

We travelled here at the end of january with Fritidsresor. The rooms are almost good enough, but as always " you get what you pay for". The service and staff are ok and some of them really good. Restaurant is ok with a small varity of fish, meat and pastadishes. Coffemachine in the bar making espresso. The pasta is by... More

The service was excellent and staff was very helpfull. The hotel was located at praia de chaves and there is about 9 km to Sal Rei. Hotel restautant is medicore and my suggestion take a taxi to Sal Rei and find restaurant where to eat. Rooms was very basic, aircon worked ok, there were blackout daily. The breakfast was buffet... A wonderfull hotel situated on the beach. A warm and welcoming staff. To bad there is to feew sunbeds at the pool and beach. But who cares, When you have the amazing beach right on your doorstep. The beach is beautiful, and the waves are fun. There can, in the afternoon during sunset, be som currents that you should be... More

Probably you will wonder where the taxi driver is bringing you when he drives over dirt roads towards some construction area, but once you are in front of the entry and past the reception area all of your doubts will vanish. The hotel is located on a very nice stretch of white sandy beach and has a nice number of... More

At this moment I am staying at this hotel, when I read some of the reviews I was concerned espescially the bad ones,I would like to know why it has a bad name it is exactly as it is advertised it is a 3 star hotel in a small country so you cannot expect sheraton, holiday inn standards especially for the price.The... Ideal situation only a few minutes from the airport. Most of the staff are friendly but one or two were a bit surly. The rooms are in need of refurbishment. The shower tap came off in my hand, there were no plugs in the bidet and washbasin and although promised they never materialized. The patio doors would not lock and... More

Don't expect anything charming or cosy. It is just a calm place to sleep, not more not less. But the rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. One of the oldest resorts on Boa Vista. Food is much better in Sal Rei, the small town nearby, but not within walking distance. There is only a shuttle bus twice a day. The... More
