Came back last night from our second trip to Boa Vista, the first time we stayed at the Riu T (further south). This hotel was smaller, food was good as usual for these sort of places, would really advise the beach bar for lunch. Italian Rest ok (thats all). Fab beach, but really hard to walk on when its windy,... More

Booked three weeks before we went. Feb 23rd 7 days. Setting was breathtaking, bungalows dotted close to the beach. From ours we could see and hear the sea. Sunsets were to die for. Our room was 234 and we dont think you could find a better view. It is quite hilly so not for those with mobility problems. Very much... More

If you want a quick fix of sunshine, Cape Verde is the answer. Beautiful setting and the beaches are lovely. It really is for people who want to just chill out and get the sunshine, very windy so use just lots of sun screen as you don't think its that hot but the sun is very strong saw a few... More

Returned last week from a fabulous week of total chill out, and whilst I read the reviews prior to both booking and travelling the message is quite clear, ignore the sad reviews and roll with the positive as it really is an idyllic location and holiday. If I was to write some negatives they would be;- Flight too long for... More

We have recently come back from a lovely week at the Royal Decameron. The hotel was spotlessly clean, we had a great room overlooking the quiet pool, the food was varied and delicious and the weather was hot but windy. The beach was stunning but sadly the sea was very rough and not generally suitable for swimming. We like to get... More

Like others I had read the reviews and was prepared for the worst. However, the room was excellent with 2 double beds. The room was cleaned daily. The restaurant, bars and pool areas had an army of cleaners. Staff were lovely. The hotel was well laid out with most rooms having a sea view. The food choice was excellent, especially... More

The entrance to this hotel is a bit off putting and if you have walking difficulties I wouldn't suggest this hotel it would be difficult to get to the beach the rooms are staggered on different levels and are made up mostly of 2 storey buildings the pavements around the hotel are cobbled and again some missing and uneven. The... More

we had a very nice time at the decameron. The staff were great, the food was fine, I like the easy way that the food was presented. The rooms were cleaned every day, drinks were always ready at hand. We did tip everyone and always thanked them for their help. the weather was great, we went in early Feb. The... More

Our second visit to the Royal Decameron for Xmas and New Year and this holiday did not dissapoint. The beach was as lovely as I remembered it as and the Royal Decameron had greatly improved. The food was just as good and so was the service. We had a lovely time, so much better that the Melia Tortuga on Sal... More
