I have just come back from this hotel from a 2 week holiday. It is not a five star hotel but it is of a very good standard. Beach is beautiful and reminds me of beaches that I have been to in the Carribean. The food was excellent, and staff are always friendly and happy to assist. You can do... More

This was our first time in Cape Verde, and we're so impressed that we are planning coming back next year again. It is such a relaxing and chilled out place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always smiling. The food was pretty good and varied, we also visited the themed restaurants, the Asian was our favourite. The swimming... More

Perfect holiday to choose if you want to relax! Staff are great and there's plenty of entertainment and activities if you want to take part. The facilities are great, we stayed when they were fully booked and there was still plenty of space - including sunbeds. Food was good, however I did find the meats seemed to be overcooked. There... This all inclusive holiday hotel overall is really quite good. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The beach is huge and if you prefer to sit around the pool and bars then there was always a space, you may need to move a couple of beds to get together. The food is as you would expect with a... Just got back from a family holiday. This is a good hotel for chilling out and relaxing. There are plenty of sub beds and u don't need to get up at the crack of dawn. The animation tream work incredibly hard both around the pool and on the evening shows. The evening shows are a little chessey but they are... More

We arrived for a 11 night break early May and this being our first visit to Cape Verde a little apprehensive judging on the vast amount of reviews good and bad on the Riu Karamboa. We were happy to say no problems at all, we had a great time.So lets begin, the staff are brilliant and an asset to the... More

We spent two weeks here in May and had a brilliant time. The holiday can be as relaxing or action packed as you like, just look on the website as to what is on offer - my wife and I went on a catamaran whalewatching, visited the old capital Rabil and the new capital Sal Rei (we like to know... My wife and I stayed for a week at Riu Karamboa on 11/02/2015. Someone mentioned the lack of entertainment on the flight. Take that up with the airline. Unusually, apparently, we had quite a bit of cloud and one drizzly day. For that I wouldn't mark it down because the weather is obviously beyond their control. There was plenty of... More

My mum and I decided to take a lovely little break here and we loved it. There's not much outside of the hotel, although we did take a day trip on one of the days, but to be honest, there's enough inside the hotel to keep you entertained, especially in the evenings. When they say it's all inclusive, it really... More
