We visited Karamboa in May for our first visit to Cape Verde and were pleasantly surprised, for us personally there is a lot to like and a lot to dislike. Rooms, the room decor, I thought was really nice and very clean looking however we did have 3 visitors (cockroaches) this wasn't a problem for us and as I said... More

Just returned from the karamboa, flight ok but the obvious, no entertainment and they make you pay for a cup of tea or coffee after your meal. Transfer from plane to hotel around 1hr 45mins. So the hotel. Situated on a very nice beach, the sand golden in some places and white in others and the sea is a lovely... More

Staff are excellent nothing too much trouble.food repetitive, very windy but kept to cool. Very clean, I was poorly with a bad tummy, the flight withthomsons was rather hairy flying back with lots of turbulence. On.y one pillow/bolster each . For a five star need to implement a rules with regard to evening wear in the rest. To be honest... More

Me and my partner visited this hotel for 2 weeks in May the weather was great but in the evenings got a little windy and slightley chilly as we were burnt from the sun. The hotel was great and staff were amazing and you did not have to tip any of them which you do in most places the food... More

Cape Verde is full of local people that are both beautiful on the inside and out . This was my first stay in a RIU and although its relatively cheap compared to other hotel chains I would still like an option of being able to upgrade my holiday even if it was at a higher cost especially with regard to... I have just come back from this hotel from a 2 week holiday. It is not a five star hotel but it is of a very good standard. Beach is beautiful and reminds me of beaches that I have been to in the Carribean. The food was excellent, and staff are always friendly and happy to assist. You can do... More

This was our first time in Cape Verde, and we're so impressed that we are planning coming back next year again. It is such a relaxing and chilled out place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always smiling. The food was pretty good and varied, we also visited the themed restaurants, the Asian was our favourite. The swimming... More

Perfect holiday to choose if you want to relax! Staff are great and there's plenty of entertainment and activities if you want to take part. The facilities are great, we stayed when they were fully booked and there was still plenty of space - including sunbeds. Food was good, however I did find the meats seemed to be overcooked. There... This all inclusive holiday hotel overall is really quite good. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The beach is huge and if you prefer to sit around the pool and bars then there was always a space, you may need to move a couple of beds to get together. The food is as you would expect with a...
