This hotel is old and dated, but our room was clean and functional. Excellent location for proximity to Niagara Falls State Park, Rainbow Bridge and the US casino. We walked everywhere. The complimentary breakfast was the basics of muffins, apples, bananas, toast, cereal, coffee and juice. The rate was pretty high, but you are paying for location. We had no... More

I agree with the review dated 7/14/2012, but did not eat breakfast there. The mattress seemed new and was very comfortable. The carpet and chairs in the room were stained and the tub had some mildew on the grout, some torn wallpaper and definitely needed to be remodeled. The location, except for the helicopter noise, was perfect. We were able... More

Stayed here with wife and two young children (under 10) for two nights. Overall, in my experience traveling, I have stayed in much better hotels and I have stayed in much worse which is why I give this place an average rating. Let me highlight what I liked and disliked: PROS - It is within walking distance of almost every... More

It's a howars johnson , not a fancy chain. Per night rate is reasonable. Free parking. It's easy to locate right on a busy street. The followings made negative impression during our stay: - very loud a/c unit, had to turn iu T down at night - wall is very thin, can hear everything happened next door, didn't sleep the... More

Yes, the room was cheap and it was located near the Falls. Even taking that into consideration, I would not stay here again. Parking was inadequate and the hotel was dated and in disrepair. Their location was just north of the Peace Bridge and traffic made it very hard to get in and out. Can't blame the hotel for the... More

Among the hotels that I have been to, Howard Johnson Niagara Falls is slightly under average. First of all, its old. So do not expect anything fancy from this hotel. Secondly, there's absolutely no views. The only view you have is a parking lot. Of course, most of the people who come to this hotel comes for the falls, not... More

Satyed in the hotel for 2 nights over the weekend. A true highlight of the hotel is the location. Everything is in walking distance (Niagara Falls State Park, Rainbow Bridge, Hard Rock Cafe, TGIFridays, Casino, etc.). Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were dated but clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and relaxing. The elevator... More

It's sad to say, but Niagara falls is a dying city. Sure you have the falls, you have the river, and you have the Seneca Casino, but unfortunately you also have the urban decay all around. The sad part is that when you look across to the Canadian side, it is clear that things do look greener on the other... More

We recently stayed two nights at this hotel. We found it to be clean, room was spacious. We stayed in a smoking room and you could not smell stale smoke in the hallway or room. When the housekeeping staff cleaned the floor you could smell a clean scent. Carpets were clean and in good condition. Plenty of towels. The pool... More
