Stayed here 3 nights with a friend. The location was very good for enjoying the US side of the falls as it is just outside the entrance to the American falls. Working on a travel budget..this hotel was great for our purposes! Within walking distance of the Falls and Maid of the Mist. Oh...and free internet and parking. Lot's of effort has obviously gone into making an old building into a stylish hotel. Modern furnishings, pleasant bedding, a 'renovated lobby'. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Hotel was clean and rooms were standard size. It was 7 floors hotel and around 35 rooms per floor. so on a peak weekend like labour day it was jam packed with people over flowing in the lobbies. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. You can tell the hotel is very old, by thing such as the small elevators and small bathrooms, but they have done a lot of things to try to make the place cosmetically new and modern.
