My husband and I were very hopeful that staying at a smaller boutique hotel would be a wonderful experience while visiting Niagara Falls. The Giacomo is a beautifully decorated hotel but there were a few issues we had during our stay. First, our King Deluxe room was far from deluxe. It was an extremely small room and also part of... Not too many -- are there really more than 1? -- nice choices to stay on the US side...but The Giacomo definitely is worth it. Great rooms, appointed well. Big bathroom, all the amenities you need. Excellent breakfast. Most important: staff truly tried to accommodate in any way possible. Have traveled to more than 30 countries and The Giacomo ranks... More

During an epic college visit road trip, my son and I spontaneously decided to visit Niagara Falls. We consulted tripadvisor, and booked a room in the Giacomo. The hotel decor is fabulous! The hotel was renovated recently after being an abandoned building for MANY years. The new owners could have spared a lot of expense by minimizing the details and... More

This is a beautiful small hotel that is located in a building that is shared with residents too, the rooms are beautiful, large and clean. The hotel is located very close to the falls about a five minute walk. The front desk people were helpful in guiding us to a place to eat that had good Indian food. They have... More

This was by far the nicest hotel on NY side of Niagara. Highly recommend Savor restaurant at the Niagara Culinary Institute!!! The parking is a pain here - had to wait for valet parking in the road. Bring very comfortable shows d/to lines and walking everywhere. Hotel rooms are HUGE!! Beautiful views.

Lovely room & hotel. About a 2 min. walk to Goat Island; about 10 mins. to Rainbow Bridge to walk into Canada. The breakfast room is nice. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles to order. Juices, various breads, yogurt.

Informed us we still had time to make the fireworks show over the falls so we dropped our gear and went. Very nice show. Very peaceful sleeping. It is a great palce to stay in - nicely designed room as well as spacey. Great bathroom, enormous shower - great bed. The rug a bit filthy. Breakfast can be improved through thinking more health, i.e. more healthy stuff to eat.

Didn't get the kind of room I had booked, and although they apologized for "the mistake" the hotel was fully booked so we were 3 people stuck in a tiny room with one bed when I had booked a room with two beds and a pull out couch. The room was clearly set up for two (they were fully aware... More
