Nice historic building with nice rooms. Unfortunately, my fiance's wedding band was missing from my handbag upon returning to the room after a hair appointment. The room condition clearly indicated someone left in a hurry and did not finish maid service. 45 minutes before the ceremony and I had to deal with this. The management responded promptly by calling the... More

Booked the Giacomo after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We took two adjoining rooms, as we were a family of two adults and two teenage boys. The rooms were a reasonable, if not huge size, well equipped, and nice and quiet (although the exposed pipes in the ceiling were not quite my cup of tea!). The staff at the front... More

Called looking for a room mid-evening after a 400 mile ride, luckily only a couple left! Very friendly, helpful and polite front desk gentleman. Great party room on top with view all around. Extra cool old architecture! Whirlpool Jacuzzi tub and the best-est pillows ever! Wonderful breakfast, including waffles made to order. Will make reservations ahead of time on next... More

I would really give this place close to a perfect review. The ambience was great, cozy and sexy. The room was decorated very cool. Bathroom was spacious enough with bath robes ready for use. I enjoyed the roomy shower....enough room for two. The shower head did not provide enough water power and limited setting choices. (Missed opportunity). I enjoyed the... More

Very nice people who work at desk that are very responsive to every call or request. Great free valet service. Their bathroom is incredible with a large walk in shower with a seat. Our room has gorgeous decorations as most of your reviews will tell you about and was very spacious . Even being on the 3rd floor it was... More

The rooms are ok enough, a little dark but have everything you need. The wifi is rubbish and drops out a lot . Joy on reception was lovely, however her male colleague was very rude and actually not what you expect and quite shocking. Breakfast although complimentary is basic.

A truly wonderful hotel - Doug Ujeski and his staff went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable time. The hotel is in a great location - less than 10 minutes walk to Prospect Park and the falls. The viewing deck on the 19th floor allows you a brilliant view of the fireworks on Friday nights. Breakfast... More

If you are planning a trip to Niagara Falls NY. Stay Here. The Giacomo is a great hotel and the staff is a JOY to work with! I spent nearly a week in The Giacomo and enjoyed the hospitality, the lounge and especially the view. Truly a fantastic experience.

My husband and kids wanted to do a quick, nearby getaway where the grownups could feel like adults staying somewhere "in style" -- and the kids could enjoy it do. Giacamo is a beautiful hotel - the decor the rooms, bar lounge and the sky lounge on the 19th floor which has a great 360 (?) view of the city.... More

Location is grat, can walk to enything you need. Bedroom and bathroon in suite are roomy and confortable, Vew fron 19th floor lounge is very good ( if you stand next to weendow, but not from the couches). Just be aware - pool out couch is not possible to sleep on ( before that I though I can sleep anywhere)... More
