We made reservations at this hotel for August 15-17, 2014 as our daughter is a 2018 cadet at West Point. Yes, I knew that the rooms were non refundable given that this is the weekend of A Day or acceptance day at West Point. However, our daughter is ill and will be leaving West Point on a Medical Leave. The... More

Can't believe how gross this place is. It really smells, in the parking lot, hallways and even in the rooms. It just feels dirty from the lobby and into the rooms. I'm sure they make good money with this prime location but why don't they use that to at least clean/maintain this motel in good condition. Please weigh ANY other... More

After reading reviews, I was terrified to stay at the Ramada but it wasn't that bad. A booking error was corrected on check-in so we had a non-smoking room which was tiny and worn, but clean. Extra towels were provided right away. The whole place is dark and shabby, but the price was right. Hopefully, you're checked in by the... More

I had a horrible experience this past Tuesday night July 1st. I picked this hotel because it was supposed to be close to West Point since i was dropping my son off the following morning and because i thought the name Ramada meant it would be well kept. When i checked in and walked to my room, the hallways had... More

There are three chain hotels next to each other, two more around the corner, and 4 more within a mile of this intersection of I-84 and I-87 (the NYS Thruway). I found myself here when United Airlines cancelled my wife's international flight from Newark after I'd dropped her off at the feeder flight in Albany. On 5 minute's notice I... More

Let me start by saying, the entrance which was a glass door, was smashed, and taped over with a few pieces of tape. The whole hotel smelled like smoke and mildew and sewer. Owned by Indians, who lived in the rooms, cooking Indian food(which smelled foul), and leaving their door open, allowing their children to run around the hotel. Manager... More

We spent two nights here for a family party. The rooms were sorely in need of a facelift, cracks in tiles, grout missing, carpet worn....you get the idea. The staff was mostly not caring or friendly and many things were misadvertised such as happy hour which didn't exist. The coffee, though complimentary was not drinkable. Not at all what I'd... More
