This is our 5th trip to Goldsmith Denniston House for a fall weekend. The accommodations are wonderful, the rooms are decorated nicely and are comfortable. The breakfast is very good and satisfying, including home baked treats. Nancy and Chuck are the best and very helpful in providing ideas for local attractions and events. We will surely continue this for years... More

My wife and I stayed at the Goldsmith Denniston House for two weekend nights and had a wonderful time. Nancy and Chuck were great hosts. Nancy was able to accommodate our request for an early breakfast time and it was fantastic. Our room was very comfortable/clean and the grounds are beautiful. There was also a nice front balcony porch where... More

We stayed one night over Labor Day weekend and had one of the four beautiful, uniquely-dressed rooms. Especially loved the huge relaxing garden (complete with super friendly cats and dogs, if you choose to summon them to you). Nancy and Chuck we're fantastic, very friendly and helpful about the area. We'll be coming back!

We stayed here for only one night during the memorial weekend but after the amazing treatment that we have received by Nancy and her husband we absolutely wished we could have stayed longer. They own very cute dogs and cats that you can meet walking around the big, tidy garden. Rooms are very cozy and super clean and the breakfast... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night and had the best experience we could ask for. The innkeepers went beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They even helped us with transportation to and from storm king without us even asking for it. The house is huge and so are the rooms. There is a big... More

We were lucky enough to get a room at this B&B for a night on memorial weekend. We were met by friendly dogs and even more friendly people. The house is amazing and the rooms so cozy. Chuck and Nancy are super friendly, and when we wanted to go to Storm King, Chuck actually took us there in his car!... More

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. We visit the Hudson Valley often and this is now our "home away from home". The location is convenient to West Point, the Mid-Hudson attractions including the Vanderbilt Mansion, Hyde Park, and the Culinary Institute of America as well as the Kingston area. Nancy is a great hostess and very helpful.... More

I (very unwisely) waited until the last minute to look for a relaxing inn or B&B upstate among the foliage to celebrate our wedding anniversary. To make matters more difficult, we could only spend one night away. During peak season, this is certainly a tall order. An exhaustive search led me no where... Until I thankfully found the Goldsmith Denniston... More

I did not stay at this B&B, I attended a baby shower here that the B&B catered. The grounds were lovely, food was delicious, staff was friendly, service was great!!! Being from Newburgh, I was very surprised that I had never heard of this place, but I will now be recommending this place for family events or when friends &... More

Terrific experience. Especially if you love old houses, you will be completely in clover. This Federal-style 1820 mansion has been lovingly restored by the innkeeper, Nancy. She grew up in the house and takes great pride in it. She knows everything about her own house and a great deal about the surrounding properties if you are curious (and you will... More
