the hotel itself was fine, rooms were fine, clean and quiet. we actually booked an event there at the ballroom, which turned out ok but I wouldnt recommend this be a place to throw a party or reception. the event coordinator-christine, and her assistant T were less than easy/comfortable to work with, kept throwing random charges into the mix and... more

I had made reservations at the new rochelle radisson for a 5 night stay in the area with some friends. I thought it sounded okay, we didn't need the amenities the Residence Inn provided. I will never again stay at a Radisson. The hotel was absolutely disgusting. The sheets on the beds were dirty, the room was dark and the... more

I guess I was lucky. I was just coming here to write my review of my stay, and was startled by the other comments! I admit I didn't read them before staying. I stayed at the Radisson because I had a wedding in New Rochelle, and it was very convenient. My stay was fine, it was a Saturday night, and... more

Just finished the Columbus Day weekend in New Rochelle. I was there for a wedding. The reception was at the Surf Club and was really well done. We stayed at the Radisson and were concerened about the noise from the bar. The bar was definitely packed and the music was loud in the bar but didn´t disturb us in the... more

stayed thursday to sunday..Had a warm friendly check-in, new room with flat screen tv (they charged me 10 dollars extra for the new room). Most surprising thing was the food in the restaurant...very good....quiet except for sat nite....they have a night club....fun but noisy ...hotel staff gave good service..place was clean....marriot up the street was sold out...radisson was less expensive.... more

We booked on the hotel website. Only after we booked did they tell us it was a smoking room. We called immediately to switch and they said we would have to pay a fee and book at a higher price. I didn't realize that hotels still had smoking rooms and I didn't realize how badly they would smell. Our room... more

My wife and I arrived here on a Friday night for a Sunday wedding. Had my confirmation number with me at check-in. No record of my name or number. I booked 3 months in advance. Oh, they CHANGED their reservation system and now book by name, not number. Still no reservation, but had rooms available. Room was NOT clean and... more

It is clean, but a little old feeling and the beds were pretty good. The sleep number thing was nice. On Saturday night the club downstairs was very packed with an older crowd with all kinds of lights and a DJ, but they didn't really use the disco ball. Drinks were $9 for a mixed cocktail and the price is... more

There were long black hairs throughout the room from either the previous occupant or maid who "cleaned" it. But the noise was unlike anything I have ever seen. The hotel restaurant serves as a mobbed up club at night. It is 10 feet off the lobby. I was on the third floor and all the furniture in my room vibrated... more

I experienced everything the other reviewers warned about, except for the noise. I asked for a quiet room with a view of the Long Island and the hotel delivered on both of these requests in the form of a room on the fifth floor. Perhaps I should also have asked for a clean room -- dental floss from a previous... more
