You know there is something special about a place that has received only 5-star ratings from everyone who’s posted a review. Piling on to the accolades, we are finally writing in after our third stay at this wonderful property. We discovered Maplestone through Tripadvisor reviews and made our first reservation there in 2007 based on the strong reviews and the... more

We have stayed in many wonderful bed and breakfasts over the years and this was, by far, the best one we've ever stayed at. Here is why: --The rooms are HUGE, super clean. --The beds feel as if you're sleeping on a cloud. --As someone very much interested in design, I found the selections of furniture, antiques, linen choices, renovation... more

I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday with a relaxing romantic getaway. Well, he couldn't have been happier. Eveything at the Maplestone Inn was perfect! I really can't say enough about this B&B, basically it is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The renovated farm house is beautiful inside and out on wonderful scenic surroundings. The... more

If you are looking for a romantic getaway try the Tucker room at the Maplestone Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sean who happily gave us the tour of this historic house and then led us to our beautiful and incredibly thought out room (Tucker room). The light fare supper was prepared by Patty with a flair for the... more

MapleStone Inn is even better than I expected. We stayed in the Hunter room, which is downstairs, and it was beautiful: spacious, clean, warm, and well-appointed. We couldn't hear any of the other guests, and we had windows in all directions, so the room was bathed in light--even on a cloudy day. Unlike many B&Bs I've stayed at (including in... more

We pulled up to this wonderful inn after 9pm and it was beautifully lit up. The owner/operators, Patty and Sean, have done an incredible job of renovating the house and the rooms are tasteful and are larger in life than they appear on the website. Each morning, breakfast was a three course delight. We wish they offered lunch and dinner... more

We just got back from celebrating my dad's 60th birthday at the MapleStone Inn and it couldn't have been more perfect. Sean and Patty are such gracious hosts and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made this weekend even more special than we imagined. The inn is magnificent,... more

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Maplestone Inn Bed & Breakfast. Simply put, it EXCEEDED our expectations which are always high. First, the property is a lovingly restored old home on 7 acres just a few minutes from the center of New Paltz and 20 minutes from Hyde Park "history" and the Culinary Institute of... more

Sean and Patty are wonderful hosts, committed to their guests' comfort. Sean could not have been more gracious, very willing to help with dinner reservations ands scenic recommendations; Patty's breakfasts are yummy! We stayed in the Hunter Room downstairs which was really beautiful. Yes, this is a real rave and we would come back! more

We had to travel to the Hudson Valley for a wedding and decided to make a short vacation out of it. We stayed at the Maplestone for 4 nights and could not have been happier. The Inn itself is just gorgeous and the hosts Sean and Patty could not have been better. They were so welcoming and helpful with directions,... more
