I got one of the small suites and was extremely disappointed as it was basically an oversized room with a sofa at one end. The sofa bed did not open and close properly. The security on the building was non-existent since the doors outside of the building, which had card key access, were left open anyway. When I went to... More

I'm in the lobby of the Rodeway Inn writing this review just after checkout. The bed was very comfortable and the room serviceable for $77 a night after tax it wasn't bad. However, the water quality is awful. I think they're on well water and i filled up a cup and it was cloudy! Worst of all, last night the... More

One nice thing that we can say, is that the bed was very comfortable. The room was hideous. My husband wouldn't take a shower because the water smelled of sewage. The service was curt. The soda machine was broken. Was not worth the price that we paid.

Our family stayed here once before, and found it nothing special and nothing awful. New Paltz has generally lousy motels (not counting the Mohonk House @ $700/nt) so I reserved here, through hotels.com. The day of our scheduled stay, my son came down with appendicitis, and was operated on. I attempted to cancel the reservation. However, the manager informed me... More

We had stayed in this hotel @ one year ago and it was okay then. We booked a 2 day stay to end our vacation. The stay was horrible. We were overcharged. Tried to charge for a 10 year old child as an adult!! Good thing I realized it and complained and got our $22 back for the charge!! Also,... More

We knew this wouldn't be the best place in the world, but we stayed over the Fourth and there weren't many rooms left in town. The rooms are dark and the shower was lousy, but that isn't my main complain. We were OVERCHARGED for our room. I reserved the room at one rate and the charged us another price when... More

The Rodeway is a pretty run down place. Furnishings are cheap. The bathroom was so dirty I insisted that the kids wear shower shoes.

Stained beds, horrible smell, rude staff, brown water... When I asked to speak with the manager, I was met with Kelly Patel. In my opinion, she was RUDE, CONDESCENDING and FLIPPANT. My complaint was regarding the multiple BROWN STAINS on the BEDS and the HORRIBLE ODOR in the room. I was told that I could leave, but, I would be... More

Since I was laying out $45 for a day/lunch at Mohonk, I was looking for an affordable hotel... but even the low-end hotels were expensive. Rodeway was one of the least expensive... got a large room with sofa, desk, and king bed... with large TV and fridge... for $79 (incl taxes) through the hotel chain's website. Room was very clean....
