I've stayed at this hotel a few times, and it's always been great. It's clean, wi-fi is good, the rooms are very nice, it's a great hotel. I see that there are a lot of bad reviews on here and all I can think is that the hotel must have changed from the past, because I'm here in May 2015... More

Just one step above awful? Not much to choose from in New Paltz so we tried her in place of ABVI. Paid about $50 mores - not worth the extra dollars! Going to stay in Poughkeepsie next time. King size bed is okay. Pull out sofa is awful and the skylight above it has something growing on it. Turned on... More

Be sure to put the "DO NOT KILL" sign on door before retiring. Pretty grim. We stopped at a couple of 1 star rated flops before abandoning all hope. There was a young guest in torn clothes with multiple cuts and stitches looking for a liquor store in lobby as we were checking in. The room it self had the... More

They have to unlock the doors in the middle of the day to let you in (how's that for safety?), bedspread looked like it hasn't been cleaned since the late 80s, guy is smoking profusely in the room next to ours, then when we try to change our 3 day reservation to leave they say we still have to pay... I have never given a hotel such a bad review, but I feel this was warranted given the price of $90. I came up from the city to run a half marathon in Minnewaska state park, and my husband and I drove around for about 40 minutes checking out the outside of nearby hotels and motels after all the reviews... The title gets your attention :-) My girlfriend and I came up for a hiking trip during the Fall foliage at the end of October. We booked a suite which is supposed to be better than the standard rooms. There were electrical wires on the floor, the alarm clock was broken and housekeeping didn't make up the room while we... Stains on the walls, thin towels, poor reception on the TV, bottom sheets too small to be tucked in, no coffee maker in room. That's the cons. The pros are the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Won't stay there again.

This hotel/motel was perfectly clean and adequate. Bathrooms and beds were fine, everything spotless, beds very comfy. Fresh and clean- etc. Nothing broken either. I searched high and low for a bug and could not find one. Prices are low and it is very close to New Paltz- a two minute drive away and right off the Thruway. Stayed here... More

We were forced to stay here during a power outage and it was convenient because it was very close to our home. I thought how bad could it be? It really is terrible and due to the high volume of people staying there they heavily inflated the prices so now all I feel is shame when I pass this building.... More
