We have always stayed in Canandaigua, NY while on vacation and wanted a changed...BIG mistake. I should have known when I had to check in at the bar and the sous chef showed me to the room. There is only on the street parking, which in retrospect is probably safer than out back. The blinds in the room were filthy... More

For a Thursday night, the porch dining area was full and most of the tables in the dining room as well. The bartender was helping wait on tables as they were quite busy, but then the Bristol Valley Playhouse just down the street was having a performance. The dining room is a step back in time and the menu was... More

Let me start by saying the Finger Lakes are great to but it's difficult to get there and do anything in one day. Hence the need for hotels and motels in the area. But it's still a seasonal area the big chains are reluctant to go into the smaller, interesting villages like Naples, Hammondsport, Penn Yan, Watkins Glen etc. So... More

We stayed in the Niagara Room. It seriously needs an interior decorator. Had a nice lunch at the bar, but there is no help with your room. Cold, old, noisy(they have bands in the bar on Saturday nights right below your room), no hot water in the am. Clean sheets, but not much else. Could be a nice place, if... More

Had a great dinner and breakfast the next am. Thought the atmosphere was excellent. Yup there is a bar downstairs so one must expect bar noises. Room was large and clean,Staff was very helpfull. We enjoyed our stay would recomend it to anyone who isnt a light sleeper and doesnt mind being above a bar.

Very shabby, very dated, not terribly comfortable. The "Niagara Suite" offered a Jacuzzi tub, a poorly installed corner shower with a powerful, non-adjustable showerhead, a GFI that tripped every time you plugged something in (so until we figured this out, we didn't have a light over the bathroom sink, which was missing a lightbulb, anyway), a mini-blind that wasn't long... Literally a nightmare! Not only was our room filthy, the toilet did not work, A/C rattled all night & cigarette smoke circulated in our room (told us it was "impossible & must be a smoking ghost") and after switching rooms for the 2nd night our bathroom had no air (was at least 110 in the bathroom) and at 2:30 in... We hoped to have a relaxing and fun time in the Finger Lakes. Unfortunately, our stay at the Naples Hotel was unpleasant. Our room was dirty, and our concerns were not immediately addressed. The dining room is overpriced for this region. Service was slow and they were out of menu items, with only poor choices of substitutions available. The bar... More

This was the 4th time & no more. After having three times having dinner there & not being very good [wanted to give it a chance] we decided to give brunch a chance, Ha, no brunch but over inflated ala carte breakfast menu, very bad service . They have New york City prices, will drive to Cananaduguia from now on... More

After visiting the Naples Hotel in Early March I have to say that it was a great experience. The food in the dinning room was fantastic and I would recomend it to my friends and family. The bar was a bit noisy in the evening but we were told ahead of time about the live entertainment, which enhanced our experience.... More
