We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Storm King Lodge! The renovated barn is beautiful, and our room was quite comfortable overall. It was a bit hot the first night without the AC on, but Hal, the owner, decided to put the AC on the second night, when it was more humid, which was more comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious... Very friendly innkeeper here. The inn was originally a barn and it's visually quite lovely. The common room is double height with a mezzanine and great post and beam construction. We stayed in the Pine room on ground floor. From the pictures of the Pine room I thought it would feel dark but that's not the case at all. It... More

Stayed at Storm King Lodge B&B a recent weekend for 2 nights (Fri+Sat) and had a wonderful time. The view of the mountains is amazing, it's very peaceful and open, lots of places to sit and lounge around. The owner, Hal, was very friendly, talkative, and made great Frittata for breakfast. Very nice place to stay, especially if you're visiting... More

We enjoyed the view and relaxing on the back porch.Beer and soda was available to the guests, as were pretzels and peanuts . Breakfast was plentiful and very good . The lodge is about 4-5 minutes from Storm King. Most of all we enjoyed talking with Hal.He is warm, friendly and enjoys chatting with his guests. I guess that's why... More

My husband and I recently spent 3 days at the Storm King Lodge. time, Beautiful area on a very quiet street. Nice views. Greeted by owner Hal who made us feel at home. He is very knowledgeable regarding things to do in the area, and gave us good recommendations for dinner. There are many parks and trails to hike nearby.... More

My wife and I spent a Saturday night in the yellow room and we can't wait to come back. Spectacular views (even from the bathroom). Hal's french toast bake with topped with fresh peaches and bluberries was worth the price of the stay. Treat yourself to the Storm King Lodge.

We recently stayed at this wonderful B&B & truly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting, great location, and a welcoming host who knows how to prepare a delicious breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer, but I'm sure we'll return some time soon - thanks Hal!

Stayed one night after spending a beautiful Saturday exploring Storm King. Arrived at the Lodge to be greeted by Hal. Hal was very welcoming and showed us our room, the pool, and gave good recommendations for dinner. We stayed in the Yellow Room at the Inn. A few things to note...it's a basic room, very clean, small shower. We weren't... More

We found The Storm King Lodge when we were touring the Hudson Valley, visiting Hyde Park, West Point, and The Storm King Art Center. The lodge is sited on a hillside, overlooking Hudson Valley trees, fields and distant mountains. It's green, green, green and peaceful. Beautiful outdoors, beautiful inside the lodge. A large elevated porch provides a place to read,... More

This is a beautiful B&B, where Hal will spoil you relentlessly. Ideal location, near the Storm King Art Center (and of course, West Point), this is a great place to stay while visiting the wonders of Storm King Mountain and the surrounding Mountainville area. We loved the fireplace in the Lavender room and hanging out in the spacious great room.... More
