Very interesting property, our room was in the Inn proper, very large, with gas fireplace, small balcony, and spa tub for two! Also walk-in shower. The food was very good in both restaurants, and good prices. We also enjoyed a couple's massage at the spa, which we enjoyed very much. They also have an outdoor hot tub. Attached to the... More

The Emerson Resort was our lodging while visiting the Catskill Mountains and it was an excellent choice due to its central location and nice facilities. Our Moroccan-themed suite was the size of a small apartment. We had a sitting area with a gas fireplace and the décor of our king-bed made me think I was sleeping in Arabian Nights. I... More

Have found this hotel to be great over the years. The spa and facilities are excellent. The rooms are outstanding. We always stay in a Royal Suite which has a large jetted tub and Swiss shower. The beds are incredibly comfortable and are large and luxuriously appointed. The food at the Catamount restaurant is always good; have even had Thanksgiving... More

I loved my stay at the Emerson. We stated in one of the Lodge suites, and it was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. How often do you get to rent a suite, with two levels and a balcony, facing the water, with a Jacuzzi, for around $200 a night? I was pleasantly surprised, due to some of the complaints I... More

This place is completely overpriced for what it is. Whole place is run down. Rooms are ok but smell very strange. There are numerous residents who seem to not like children around. Food incredibly expensive and not very good. Staff is pleasant but resigned to disappointment of patrons. Won't ever go back.

My husband surprised me with this 3 night getaway, and was it ever worth it! Fluffy thick towels and robes EVERYWHERE. Amazing facilities included the Spa (services over the top included massage, facial, mani/pedi, steamroom, sauna, and outdoor hottub), the Salon, the Phoenix Restaurant, a General Store, the Cafe, and the Worlds Largest Kaleidescope. Waitstaff were accomodating and ever cheerful.... More

We've been coming to Emerson for over 4 years (7 or 8 stays total) and love the peace and quiet of the place along with the high-end feel. This time however, we were rather disappointed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the room. We were staying in a Regal Suite which had seen better days. From the dirty bathroom when... More

This place is great. This was our first time staying here. I read a lot of reviews and I couldn't ask for anything better. The room was amazing, the restaurant and spa were both great. The service and everyone I interacted with top notch. My wife and I plan to absolutely plan to return. If anyone is looking to plan... More

Very nice we'll run lodging facility in upstate Catskills region of NY. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. Great friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Shops and restaurants located on site. Well worth the trip.

We visited the Emerson for three days in September. We stayed in an Imperial Suite in the Inn. The room was gorgeous, spacious and clean. From the moment we walked into the room, we knew we would have a relaxing stay! From the flat screen tv , wet bar, fireplace and balcony in the living room to the jetted tub on... More
