Allegiance B&B is a spacious (11,000 sq.ft.) mansion that is fantastic. The rooms and decoratrions are great, along with the hospitality of Steve (and Glenda). It is located near magestic Letchworth State Park, the Grand Canyon of the East. The only recommendation that I have for this fine establishment is including a hot entree in their breakfast. more
We had a great stay, very relaxing and charming. Our first stay at a bed and breakfast! The innkeeper Steve was great, he was there if he needed him but never overbearing. The owner, Steve, is very friendly but not invasive. He is casual and willing to research things for you or provide suggestions. The place does have internet service now- wireless was installed the day we arrived (July 16). After reading the other 3 reviews, it seems this B & B is going downhill. I agree with the latest review. We stayed in the Falkner room. We were told it was "small but nice." There was only a foot of space between the bed and the walls on both sides. We had hooks on the back of the door... more
I hate having to write a not-so-good review about the Allegiance. The proprietor, Steve, is a very nice, congenial host. He does not, however, seem capable of organization or remembering things. We were just very lucky to find this beautiful B&B. Steve, the owner was so accomodating and helpful. We ended up staying an extra night to enjoy this stately home. The breakfast was just right. Very relaxed in a sunlit room. If we are ever that way again, we will stay at least a night or two. more
Great place to stay if one plans to visit Lechworth. Has a quaint colonial charm. more
