The Falls Motel is one of those rare finds in small motels, it is updated and very clean while it is complemented with a nice place to eat next door....I will not hesitate to recommed to anyone staying in the finger lake regions. more

Spent the weekend at this motel during a wine club trip in October. They accomodated about 24 of us. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful - we needed bandaids on several occassions and they were happy to provide. Continental breakfast is basic - coffee, OJ, prepackaged muffins/danishes. But its included so who can complain! As mentioned in other reviews,... more

My husband and I just spent a weekend in the Finger Lakes area of New York and booked 2 nights at The Falls Motel in Montour Falls, NY. What a pleasant surprise! It was probably the cleanest motel room I've ever stayed in, as in nearly spotless! The owner Phil, was very helpful to us as well. We rode up... more

My wife and I stayed here several times since they've redone everything. We love everything about it, except for the loud heater (VERY loud), and uncomfortable bed and pillows. We stayed in the King bedroom suite with the whirlpool tub, and the bed seemed fine, but the "lesser" rooms were fairly uncomfortable. Having said that, since everything's newly built, it's... more

I was excited to stay here because it came highly recommended. However, the staff was unknowledgeable and worse, unhelpful when it came to our wireless connection, which was important because we were staying there for work. When we requested that my co-worker be moved to a room with a better wireless connection, they stated incorrectly that proximity to the wireless... more

Stayed in a King-bedded room which was immaculate. Bed was very comfortable. We ate at the adjacent restaurant/lounge one night and had good meals. This is a nice, basic motel that I'll not hesitate to return to. In case you're not aware, rooms of this caliber are few and far between in the Watkins Glen area. My only complaint is... more

What a pleasant surprise our stay was at this motel! It is close to the beautiful falls just off Main Street, just a few miles from Watkins Glen, the Finger Lakes wineries and real close to the NYS Fire Academy (the reason for our trip) We booked the suite - a bit more pricey than their regular rooms- but really... more

This motel represents a great value for anyone attending a driver's school or race at Watkins Glen. The price is reasonable, the accommodations are recently renovated albeit minimal, the staff is very friendly, and the track is less than 10 minutes away. Anyone who has tried to find a decent, reasonably priced motel room near Lime Rock Park, in Lakeville,... more
