The staff was friendly and welcoming at this family owned motel. We stayed in a cottage for one night. It was warm, roomy and comfortable. Actually, we were surprised by how nice the cottage was. There was a flat screen tv mounted in the living room. The water pressure was excellent in the shower. The cottage had a lovely deck... More

There are pros and cons to this Motel. The pros: location to the beach, the town, to Montauk Point and the lighthouse are all excellent. We even walke down to the IGA in no time. Another pro is the size of the room - it was quite large and featured a full kitchen, stocked with dishes/glasses/pots and pans. We stayed... More

I had the unfortunate experience of staying in this flea bag motel over Columbus Day Weekend...note to self..."book hotel more in advance on holiday weekend".....this was the only place I could find a room. First impression, wow does this place stink !!! Second impression, this room is nasty. I can tolerate a a seedy motel room, considering I am just... More

Stayed in a cottage with several friends. The accomodations were ok but found owner's daughter to be rude and verbally abusive. Would not recommend. Obviously she slept through the customer service part of the customer is always right and the golden rule. I have stayed at several other places in Montauk with nicer staff.

myself and a friend stayed in one of the cottages at the montauk motel, the cottage was clean, not very modern but what you would expect for the money we paid, it was in a great location in montauk 2 min from the beach, the gardens were well kept and we had a gazebo outside, the pool was lovely and... We've been staying at the Montauk Motel for years. It is by no means a luxury experience, but for the money, and considering the prices in the area, it's a great deal. It's a block away from the main stretch of town, and has a pool on premises that's clean and never crowded. The rooms could use some renovation, but... More

If you can afford it, stay somewhere else. The room smelled, the door facings were dirty, the blinds were broken. Also seemed to have some iffy clientel -- not us of course. Walking distance to everything in town. Overall, safe enough and cheap, with kitchenette for $75, but we would never stay there again.
