We travel frequently for business as well as for relaxation. When choosing a hotel, I look for interesting design, cleanliness, pleasant staff - an original, but defined atmosphere. Montauk Beach House hit all the markers. Plus THE most comfortable bed and linens, ample A/C, a nice balcony overlooking the quiet street and barefoot beach-goers, a few steps in each direction... The Montauk Beach House in my opinion is a Upscale Motel in a small beach town. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to the circle, and very close to "John's Pancake, Montauk Bake Shop, Bars, Etc." The rooms and service are comfortable but do not justify the expensive nightly rate. The Saturday and Sunday poolside vibe was... More

I've stayed at gurneys, panoramic view, royal atlantic..etc!I liked the location right in middle of town.Although not directly on ocean its grab a towel and your a few steps away.Customer service was excellent. The rooms are modern & very clean. Enjoyed the pool area. Loved the grill. Great Bar with fabulous Margaritas. Enjoyed poolside... More

I came to this hotel with a bachelorette party. When we arrived at the hotel the rooms were nicely decorated however the AC was not on and it was almost unbearable to stand in there. Because they didn't have a phone in the room, I kept having to walk down to the front desk to see if there was something... More

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This hotel should be shut down by the board of health and the General Manager should be thrown out on his butt. After finding a towel in our bathroom after the room was cleaned covered in fecal matter and having the General manager screaming at us and accusing the 4 of us of doing... More

Walking into this place is like walking into Restoration Hardware. What the developers have done here is take a very ordinary beach unit complex or old motel and slap some make up on it, the entire Restoration Hardware catalog. The TV was the only thing not from this shop. The price tag only adds insult to injury. There is nothing... More

Found the place such a great experience. Rooms were beautiful as well as the grounds. Very friendly and attentive staff and specialty drinks were great too! Poolside relaxation at its best. I would recommend this place for a nice getaway from the city

This is a lovely place but there is NO SERVICE. NO ROOM CHARGES. A glorified beach over priced motel in a beautiful location. Close to town with a nice pool and great chairs and EXPENSIVE drinks. Be careful not to get a room downstairs as there is no carpet and you get upstairs neighbors walking overhead all night!

It is a very good hotel. However I was highly dissapointed because of the fact that there was a construction going on nearby the pool while I was having rest. The noise was so annoying. I came all the way from manhattan and pay that amount of money to be able to listen the ambiance sound of the nature, to... More

Amazing staff and service and amazing manager! We ran into a plumbing issue and our rooms overflowed with sewage. The manager, Alex, was quick to respond and really made our stay an enjoyable one. -Tyler Jaen

The Montauk Beach House is situated in the heart of downtown Montauk, and is a block from the Atlantic Ocean surf beaches and a short stroll to Montauk’s most exciting shops, restaurants, bars and cafés.We are a 33-room boutique hotel with an active environment that encompasses a lively outdoor bar scene and entertainment within its grounds. Our summer season is booked with special events including DJs, live music, fashion shows, and other social gatherings with one common goal: a bit of serious fun.So if you understand what we are about, be prepared to have a rather splendid time! The Hotel lobby has a bustling atmosphere, with an open-air feel – afforded by the giant wall of glass doors that open to the street. Soaring ceilings, beautiful art, and décor set the scene. The Hotel’s quirky and fun furniture intrigues you as you move through the lobby past the Café – an espresso bar serving splendid Stumptown coffee: freshly baked croissants, and other light fare. ... more   less
