We have stayed here twice now, last year in the upstairs room and this year in the downstairs suite, both equally nice. Definitely "add a star" if you are an animal lover. Very clean, quiet and well decorated (shaker style). It makes a nice change from the frilly Victorian look of many B&Bs. What sets Brookfield Farm apart is Caroline's... More

I love animals, so I was excited that I would be able to say hello to a couple of very pretty cows here. The room we had was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. I wish we could have stayed one more night to use the pool and enjoy the property more. We woke up... More

There was much to love about this B&B! Our family stayed here for three nights while hiking through the Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park. The room was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable, and had plenty of thoughtful ammenities. I agree with another reviewer that the photos do not do justice to the lovely decor. On the hottest nights you might... More

Over the July 4th weekend this B&B provided us with the most wonderful accommodations and a fabulous bucolic escape from Manhattan. The grounds are just beautiful and really quite extensive. You would never know that the city was less than 2 hours away. You do not see any neighbors as the property is bordered on all sides by mature trees... More

We loved this B&B - out of the way in a lovely area - and the hosts were attentive and friendly. A continental breakfast - home baked breads/pastries mixture of fresh fruits and coffee at your door in the morning. Also supplied juice, milk tea cereal etc. Loved the setting - we walked the path around the farm and enjoyed... More

First the good: Nice, comfortable and clean. Plenty of space. Beautiful, spacious property with animals, trail and pond. Quiet and secluded but close to Hannaford's and other great towns with good restaurants and stores. Good water pressure but shower is small so I suggest they add a shower hose. Plenty to drink in fridge and different cereals in cabinets along... More

We had a wonderful time at this B&B, which is just 2 hours from NYC. The room was huge and spotless. There was a fridge stocked with water and juice, fresh fruit available upon our arrival, and snacks in the room. The breakfast was delicious. The space was quiet and the pool was a huge plus on a hot summer... More

We were very pleased with the accommodations, and the breakfast was tasty and great presentation-wise. Really enjoyed lounging at the pool and seeing the animals. Clean, tidy room and very quiet. Would recommend.

We only stayed one night at Brookfield Farm but wished we could have stayed longer! It was a lovely B&B. Our room was immaculately kept and provided a very relaxing atmosphere. There was so many different kinds of birds to watch from our room in the morning. Caroline and Michael were wonderful hosts and the breakfast was so yummy with... More

5 women headed to New Paltz to go to wineries in the area, we are from the Rome, NY area and wanted a nice place to stay for 2 nights. We stayed at the Brookfield B&B and had a wonderful stay! We had the run of the place as there were 2 rooms and 5 of us, the rooms were... More
