We brought 3 city friends here a few years ago and it was fantastic. One person had never been camping! The yurt may have spoiled him from anything else. The walk up is not bad at all and it is down hill on the way out. You don't have to bring much anyway because Falls Brook gives you everything you... More

We wanted somewhere remote where we could bring our dogs and spend the weekend hiking. This place definitely fit the bill. Maybe it was because it rained the whole weekend (or just because it is a yurt half way up a mountain) but the place was really dirty. We would clean but it never felt clean. The owners were nice... This place is magical. I found some history on these yurts and included some other info on this place. If you like the backcountry and want comfort, this is the place to visit.Hike in 2/3 mile to a unique, backcountry Falls Brook Yurt and hike to secluded ponds, waterfalls, atop Green Mountain and to a lunch lean to on Stony...
