We stayed here last year and I liked it enough to come back. We were going climbing at the Gunks which is West of New Paltz so about a 25 mile drive but I wanted to be here anyway. The grounds are really nice, only wish we stayed longer so I could spend more time here. Ate breakfast and it... More

Buttermilk is the absolute best. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. My family has been going to BMF for about 4 years and we cannot wait to go back! My family and friends all just stayed at BMF last week and everyone loved it. Definitely visit if you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful, fun weekend upstate!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay on our recent trip with friends to the inn. We stayed in the Juniper room, which is lovely. Nice size bathroom, walk in closet, small refrigerator, TV and comfortable bed. Decorated nicely and clean. There is a balcony off the room. This is the only area that could use improvement. I did let the... More

Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa is a nice, upscale (but not too upscale) hostelry in the country. If you want the Ritz-Carlton, this is NOT the place for you. If, however, you desire a clean, homey room in a 200+ year-old farm house with nice amenities, then maybe it is. There are guest rooms in the main house as well... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Inn in the Sage Left room. The Inn is very pretty and the room was spacious and comfortable, with French doors that opened to a terrace with a view of the Hudson River. The property is unique, with a farm including llamas, donkeys, sheep, chickens and peacocks. They also use produce... More

I have been here twice and our first visit was perfect. So good, I had to go back. We stayed in a different room which unfortunately was freezing. When we spoke to the management we were told that it is a known problem with the room and that there was nothing they could do. When I returned home, I left... More

Dear JmcNYC, Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback to the Trip Advisor community. Per our recent conversation after your check out, we were able to connect and go over the issues of the room temperature and the delay in this message getting to my attention. When we spoke, I reassured you of our commitment to exceptional... More

A really nice place tucked away on the Hudson River. Rooms were large and well kept. Had a great massage & facial at the spa. Only 2 1/2 hours from Long Island. Would definitely go back. A lovely breakfast each day was included.

We recently spent a couple of nights at this Inn with friends. What a fabulous find....the property was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was superb. Our room in the Inns main building was large, clean and quiet with a lovely view of the property and the Hudson River. The Spa was wonderful as was the pool and... More

We had a wonderful experience. The food was great. Warm staff, beautiful property. We went on a hike and saw the animals, gardens and waterfall. Definitely would go back and have recommended family to go there. May not be great with kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Pony's Pad with it's 2-story space, private deck and kitchen. Very romantic setting on the Hudson with beautifully maintained grounds--gardens, ponds, sitting areas, paddle boats, bikes, mini-farm and trails to explore. The spa and indoor pool was peaceful and never crowded. I had a very professional and relaxing signature massage in the spa... More
