We stayed here for a family gathering in the area and were pleased with the room, which was attractive, clean and spacious. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was the usual mix of juice, muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. More than adequate. Only glitches were when we had to ask more than once for extra towels and a... more

For my best friend's birthday, I treated him to three days at the Stony Brook Film Festival. The Comfort Inn in Medford was reasonably priced and close by. We enjoyed our stay. The room was fine, the service was very good, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Unless you need fancier digs, I'd recommend Medford's Comfort Inn to just about... more

I was out in the area for business & a little skeptical about staying here, because I had passed it from the highway many times before & it never looked like much. But I couldn't find another room elsewhere so I bit the bullet, and I'm glad I did! I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel - it was... more

I was booked into this hotel through my work. It's going through a lot of changes right now and looking it up on the net before I arrived did absolutely no good. It was said to have a pool, microwave and refrigerators in the room, etc. Neither of these things were true. It advertises wireless internet in all the rooms,... more

We stayed at this property for one night midweek. It was located right off the Long Island Expressway exit 64. Although they are doing construction on the adjacent property, we found it to be quiet. The staff were very helpful and kind, the rooms clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was far more than expected, the pastries were fresh and... more

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn for a weekend, and we were very happy with our stay. Everyone was very courteous to us. The room was clean and had all the essentials. We were very happy and look forward to staying there again. more

What I don't recommend is staying here without a vehicle. I didn't notice much that could pass for sidewalks, and recreation and restaurants are spaced far between each other. Buses run infrequently. Otherwise, this is a conventional motel with decent rooms, a nice pool area, a breakfast bar with a good variety of bagels and pastries, and a guest laundry... more

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very clean and had the typical amenities. There is a coffee pot, but no fridge. I would rate the room and service as fairly good. This hotel has a night/comedy/bar club in the basement with live entertainment on Fri and Sat. nights. Don't stay there then! It seems to be the... more

The Comfort Inn in Medford New York bills itself as the best place to stay at the gateway to the hamptons... well if this is the best place to stay you need to go back home. I was to the hotel before the renovation and let me tell you the place needed some serious help, so after the big renovation... more
