First time I went there was with my wife for dinner and it was very was good. The next several times was for my company meetings. It's nice to have a place like this in our area, good for many things. Never stayed there as a hotel, but based upon my other experiences, I think it would be great.

The hotel is a great alternative to staying in the Chautauqua Institution (and paying the additional fee). It is only a few miles north of the Institution (less than a 10-minute drive), so getting to the Institution isn't an issue. There is plenty of parking available, even for a large motor home. The rooms are small, but well laid out.... More

We often drive through the southern part of NY state on our way to Erie from eastern PA. The lakes are very relaxing. We came across this hotel on our last trip through the area a couple of years ago. When heading through the same area again on this recent trip we found ourselves looking forward to staying here again... More

We had read the reviews and were somewhat skeptical, but our stay was very pleasant. Is the suite configured rather oddly? Yes, but I can understand why it's done that way and having the second bathroom is a huge plus. Would we rather have had a king bed instead of a queen bed? Yes, but again I feel the extra... More

When my wife and I visit the Chautauqua Institution, we prefer to stay on the Institution grounds. Since we made our decision too late to find a room there, we decided to try the nearby Chautauqua Suites and were very pleased by our spacious suite with a view of the lake. It was comfortable, very clean, and had both a... More

The hotel staff front desk were very unwelcoming, rooms are strangely setup, the sofabed couch is very small for 2 people, our room smelled musty, It was 180 a night, not at all worth that price, no room service, we asked at the front desk for places in area open for fast food and was rudely answered that nothing was... The best thing I can say about the hotel is the location. I would recommend staying somewhere else. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly, the layout of the room is claustrophobic because their are two bathrooms. Very small rooms for the money. We stayed here because we attended a wedding here. The food was literally inedible. So many people... More

Due to family business, I've had occasion to stay at this hotel several times over the past year. Each visit has been great. The large rooms feel more like an apartment than a hotel room - a separate seating area in the front of the room has a desk, closets, tv and a couch (which opens to a comfortable bed... More

For the price, the quality was just not there. Hotel front desk could use a little more "professional customer service" help. Rooms have a very unusual set-up. Yes, they are designed with 1.5 bathrooms, which is a plus but they are long and very, very narrow rooms. Due to the unusual size of the room they offer only double and... More

Came up to the lake this weekend for a business party, I stayed here last night, the rooms were big, a little sitting area when you walk in and two bathrooms.. The bed was comfortable but the pillow were not.. Are at olives(the bar/restaurant ) they had good pizza and a live band! I would stay here again!
