Needed a hotel for one night for my sons graduation from Suny Cortland. All the cortland hotels had a 2 night minimum whether you needed it or not. The prices went up as well. Found the Three Bear Inn and it was just what we needed at a very low price. Got 2 rooms for $90.00. It was located maybe... More

Hey man, it's a motel. Personally, when I stay at a motel, my expectations include a clean place to sleep for a night. This place had that. Upon our 11:00 arrival we were greeted warmly by the desk person/bartender. We were given a REAL KEY!!! And we headed up the stairs. Another guest even offered to help with my bags,... More

We stayed in a non-smoking room upstairs that overlooked the parking lot. The room was newly renovated with fresh painting and floor coverings. There was cable tv. No clock, so remember to bring your own. No refrigerator or microwave, but the restaurant is next door and there is a mini mart across the street to cater to your palate. The... More

Dining in the old hotel was excellent. Motel rooms are definitely dated and beds especially could be improved. Cleanliness was not a problem. All staff in both restaurant and motel very nice. Wish it wasn't so close to I-81. Was a bit noisy. All in all not a bad value considering the price was very reasonable.

The room, despite being non smoking, is on the second story above the smoking rooms, and the room is pretty saturated with the smell. The bathroom especially seems to conduct fresh smoke from the rooms below. There is a lot of dust in the room. A dusty sock hung from our smoke detector. Some of the outlets did not work... More

Staff was pleasant. But rooms are lacking. No clock. TV up-volume on remote did not work. Drip in tub could not be stopped (placed towel under drip for the night). Door latch area VERY beat-up/deteriorated. Light switch entering room did not operate anything. (had to walk across room to find a light at night). Pillows were terrible (thank goodness I... More

Best night sleep in weeks. Couldn't travel any longer and was lucky to find the Three Bear. Good food (Breakfast) real nice folks. Everyone (customers and staff) were very friendly and helpful. This could become a habit!

I am writing this review to save others from the terrible experience that I had based on reviews that must have come from sensory deprived travelers. The room was dirty - I have pictures of an inch of ancient dirt around every baseboard. There was no security lock of any kind on the door and the chairs were too short... More

We love to stay at the three bear. The rates are awesome and maybe the rooms look a bit out of date. But what really makes every second worth it to stay there are the people. From breakfast in the morning all the way to the bar at night, evryone is zo friendly and helpfull. We always try to fit... More

In a world in which you never get what you pay for...this is a place that is just the opposite. A hometown, friendly inn with good food, good service, clean and comfortable. The staff makes you feel right at home. We would stay here again and again rather than going to bigger city locations. It would be worth the commute... More
