Do not choose this motel based on the picturesque website - the place is terrible. I spent two nights there in November of 2005 and could not believe how much I paid for an uncomfortable stay.

The motel, inside and out, was not clean. The room was filthy and the grounds were littered with junk. The heat in my room did not work so they had plugged in a space heater, the refrigerator did not function properly, the kitchen light was broken, the bathroom sink faucet leaked and the water in the shower never got above lukewarm. The rug was dirty and stained, the drawers on the nightstand were broken, and there were holes in the wall. A note on the door gave instructions on how to call the office, but the office was never open and there was no phone in the room!

Apparently there is no maid service here; the towels were not changed, no new toilet paper was put up to replace the empty roll and the trash was not emptied. Someone did change the broken light before my... more
