I have been to the Adirondack Hotel on Long Lake restaurant a number of times through the years. I have never stayed in the hotel. I have always been happy with the food, the pricing and the service. I love the location. If seated near a window diners can watch planes land and take off on the lake across the... More

Nostalgic, turn-of-the-century Americana - feels like you're in a movie set. The hotel is perfectly situated across the street from the lake with lovely views from the large porches on the first and second floor. Everything is within very short walking distances - a variety of cute shops, restaurants and a marina including boat rentals. Small rooms, perfectly clean and... More

My wife and I visited the Adirondack Hotel in late May before the beginning of the tourist season. The Adirondack is one of the few remaining examples of the great hotels which once defined accommodations in the wildness in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The hotel is a little rustic and the rooms small, but they are immaculately... More

The rooms were very clean and the rates were very good. Our room had two twin beds and also had a bathroom with shower. You can get rooms that do not have a bathroom and shower. Those rooms use a community/common bathroom with shower. In our room the shower was very small and the toilet was wedged between the shower... More

We visited the Hotel for dinner this week. I had hoped for a historic inn. We found a run down diamond in the rough. There were no warm and fuzzies here. We were quickly taken to a table, our waitress did come over in a relatively reasonable amount of time. We were welcomed with a list of things that they... More

First off, let's get the negatives out of the way. The Adirondack Hotel is over a hundred years old. In its heyday the accommodations may have been considered "luxurious" , however in comparison with today's hotels, the rooms are tiny, the beds aren't the most comfortable and the entire hotel has a slightly tattered and "worn about the ears" vibe.... Only stay here if you enjoy a bar that stays open until 3am. Only stay here if you enjoy other quests sitting on the shared porch outside you room's window, drunk & smoking, talking loudly at all hours that suit their own needs without any thoughts that a few feet away are other guest's windows. This was "okay" (not really)... More

We stayed in this hotel last weekendin the apartment, was not expecting much from the lack of website pictures and for a very good reason. The place is old and so are all the fixtures broken mirrors, lack of lighting fea ridden stuffed black bear in lobby! Old is the best way to describe it and don't sit on the... More

I have eaten at the hotel many times over the years when visiting Long Lake at least once a year. But never stayed there. They do have a noisy bar and I think many of the complaints I have read from other members here on trip advisor are probably on point. It would be awfully hot without a/c on the... More

We booked a last minute trip over the 4th of July. We needed to be in the Long Lake area and this was all that was available to us. Even with the holiday period, I'm shocked at what they charge for the miserable accommodations you get $95/night). The only room left for us was a closet sized room with 2... More
