These quaint, clean and perfectly designed cottages overlook Long Lake and have air conditioning, Fireplaces, kitchens, porches and all the amentiites you need in true Adirondack style. Good for families or coupels. It is quiet. The beach is great and the feel is pure Adirondack. I'm coming back again. Hosts are fantastic and helpful.

My husband and I stayed in the Sandpiper Cottage during the week of July 7th. We were impressed by the comfort our cottage afforded us, as well as how amazingly clean it was. The owners, Tom & Leslie could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing time, enjoyed the beautiful view each morning & evening, as... More

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful trip to the Adirondacks. We go every year and this year I think we finally found a place that we will return to year after year. The cottages at Water's Edge (we stayed in the Sandpiper) were very clean, well stocked so we needed none of the basics (pots, pans, etc),... More

My husband and I just returned home from a week in the Sandpiper cottage. We have spent a lot of vacation time in the Adirondacks, but this was our first time at Water’s Edge. It is now at the top of our list for returning. The cabins are on a slight rise that overlooks the lake with their two docks... More

My husband and I stayed three nights (not long enough!) in October 2011. They are beautiful! The cottages decorated in true Rustic Style. Very comfortable with the most awesomely, amazing views - right down to the lovely little pontoon where we drank our favorite Pumpkin Beers enjoy the scenery. The hosts VERY friendly and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend these... More

I can't say enough about the Water's Edge Cottages and the owners, Tom and Les. They were both so friendly and helpful. We stayed in Sandpiper which was cozy and warm on the cold nights. Everything was spotless. We had dinner at the Adirondack Hotel where the portions were huge. Loved the people there also. We booked for next August... More

We stayed in the Sandpiper cabin, meant for just two persons. It is the smallest cabin, but absolutely delightful, the perfect cozy get-away we needed. It has a full kitchen, and a wood-burning stove which is perfect on a chilly Adirondack evening. We also took advantage of the grill and the beach-side fire pit. The location is beautiful; we took... The fact that my wife, my son, and I are heading back for our fifth summer says it all. Our first two years were spent in the Sandpiper cabin, a small studio-like cabin with a kitchen, bath, and wood burning stove. Year three (after the birth of our son) we stayed in Loon which has two bedrooms and a small... More

Water’s Edge is a relaxing, cozy, tidy, well-run set of cottages on the eastern shore of Long Lake, just outside the hamlet of Long Lake. We enjoyed our stay, doing a little bit of everything, and a whole lot of nothing! This was our first experience renting a lakeside cottage in the Adirondacks, although we’ve rented houses and villas in... More

We made reservations for Water's Edge over the internet, so we were a little nervous about what the cabins were like. We arrived early in the evening and were immediately mesmerized by the view our cabin provided. The cabins are very clean, nicely decorated, and supplied with everything we needed - the kitchen was fully stocked, free firewood was provided,... More
