My wife's family summered in Long Lake when she was a kid because her great grandmother had a place there. Over the past 10 years we have stayed almost everywhere in Long lake. Journey's end was awesome. We rented 3 of the 4 cabins and had an absolute blast. Something to do for everyone of any age. Private beach, dock,... More

We were so fortunate to find this place in time to see the leaves at their peak color! The Nest is cozy, yet completely equipped with almost everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. I totally enjoyed the screened porch which looks across the lake. I had brought my own bedding and towels, but they had provided these things... More

We are in Retreat and it is a perfect gem for two, not fancy but comfy, warm and suitably log cabinish. Tiny little kitchen where we can cook, small frig and freezer, nice hot water shower, two beds for warm cosy sleeping. Only complaint is the seating in living area includes a lumpy sort of futon only comfy for one.... More
