If you are coming to NYC for business or sight seeing, Best Western City View is a good place to stay. If you are driving to various parts of the aria for sales calls, you can park in the City View lot at the end of your day. If you are driving to NYC for sight seeing, park your car... More

The price was right, but the place was underwhelming. The outside of the building gave me hope that the old school building features would be preserved and used as a theme throughout. The moment you walk in though, you see it's just another Best Western. You wouldn't know if you were in Peoria or The Big Apple. The plexiglass-encased front... More

Our room was very clean but had quite dated decor/furniture etc. looked a bit worn out. Definitely need more working power outlets in the rooms too, or at least the one we were in. The included breakfast was very good. Some hotel staff were very helpful, others were not so much. Sometimes we would phone the hotel in the evening... More

This hotel smells like a cigarette ashtray. When I arrived the front desk clerk was standing in the doorway to the lobby smoking up a storm. The room was tattered, with one lamp without a switch, unplugged and standing like a lonely soldier. Carpet was soiled, bathroom was one step removed from awful. This did not represent my 1000 nights... More

Definately will stay here again. VERY good price and very clean. Free daily shuttle to the train, which is a plus. Room was very comfortable and very quiet. Not much, within walking distance, but there are several neighborhood delis open during the day, and lots of nearby places that deliver. WAY cheaper that the city. Very nice view of Manhattan.

You can avoid the crazy prices of Manhattan and the noise by staying in Long Island City and taking the subway to sightsee or go to theatre. It is a few block walk or the hotel will take you back and forth to the subway free before 10PM.

We needed a place to stay in Queens, NY, for two times in three days, on both legs of a trip to Baltimore from Boston. The first night we were given a room with a shower inside of a broken jacuzzi and a sagging bed. On the second night, two days later, we were given a non-smoking room that smelled... More

We should have known that a hotel with bullet proof glass at the front desk was going to be an adventure! We arrived @ 5am after a cross country flight to discover our room wasn't available, lucky we told them the night before we would arrive the next morning. After 4 hours waiting in the lobby, we got a room... More
