One of the Worst experiences ever. Hotel is Owned and operated by the same person. I was in NYC for a couple of days with my girlfriend and the Hotel was not up to par with our expectations. First thing we noticed as we walked in, the A/C in the lobby was not on. It was 87 degrees outside and... more

I stayed at the Quality Inn Long Island City for two nights in June 2009. The hotel is much smaller that pictures make it look, with only 6-8 rooms on each floor. This meant that all rooms were directly off the elevator and the beeping could be heard all night long. The staff is not friendly at all, and could... more

Very nice and clean hotel for a very good price in NEW YORK !! Metro just around the corner (39th street bebie) and Queen Plaza. Withing 15 minutes you are in Manhattan. We loved it. Very friendly receptionists. Good internet possibilities. Free coffee all the time. Breakfast is free but do not expect much off this opportunity. Great beds and... more

Comfortable, clean, really friendly staff....AND a 1/3rd of the cost of a Manhattan hotel on New Years Eve! You could not ask for more. We stayed for 6 nights. We arrived before check in time and initially, the room we were given had not been cleaned or vacumed and smelt awful, apparently a part-time cleaner had not been doing his... more

The location is very convenient, about 5 minute walk to the subway station (39th Avenue), and it only takes about 15 minutes to get to downtown Manhattan. The area around the hotel is a litlle industrial, but it seems safe. The hotel offers free breakfast: cereal, bagels and donuts, plus coffee & tea. There is a computer in the lobby... more

Service Check-in - great & with a personal note. The person on-duty wrote down the location of the most important sights and the metro stations on a local and on a NY map. Free wifi access throughout the hotel - great. Public computer access in the lobby - crowded, no printer. The elevator - ssssssllllllloooooooooooooooooooowwwwww Ice & vending machines on... more

Wow! Where to begin...this hotel was great! We arrived 3 hours before check-in, fully expecting the room to not be ready but much to our surprise we were checked into our room w/ no hesitation. We were given great directions to all the sights we wanted to see in NYC... the front desk employee even wrote down the directions and... more

Just a confirmation on all previous posts. Breakfast is stale donuts and bagels. Dry cereal gets ground up coming out of the machine they use to dispense it which is good since the only way to eat it is with tiny teaspoons. OJ is terrible, but the apple juice is OK. Coffe is the only good part of breakfast they... more

The area of New York is not downtown Manhattan but it is a decent area if all you are really looking for is a pillow to put your head on. The rooms were small but very clean and the hotel was in great shape as well. There is no parking for cars but there is an over priced lot not... more

My boyfriend and I stopped here for two days in late May. First, let me start by saying that I WOULD stay here again. I'd just bring some Lysol and Clorox wipes. The bathroom smelled like wet towels and the shower curtain had mold on it. Towels were also really thin. So the shower could def been cleaner. I'm kind... more
