The hotel has very few parking spots. If you have a late arrival you might need to use the public parking lot across the street. The guy at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The room wasn't bad but it was a little cold. There was a towel in the bathroom with stains and dried blood. The breakfast consisted... More

Stayed here for two nights with friends and really regret it. When we went to go to bed, we found hairs (including curly hairs) on the pillow cases. We requested a change of sheets from the front desk, and a man came back with the same pillows and pillowcases, he had clearly simply wiped the hairs off with his hand.... More

Room was good size, bathroom recently remodeled and nice but small. Bed and bedding comfortable. Problem with fire alarm going off at 4:30 AM and again at 10:50 AM causing elevator not to operate. Dragging luggage down 5 flights of stairs not fun.

First floor rooms are in the basement. No elevator to bring down luggage. Air conditioning/heating system are in window 7 feet above floor. One has to climb up on a swivel chair with wheels to make adjustments to temperature. If it snows sidewalks parking area are not shoveled. Poor customer service, take it or leave it attitude from front desk.

Typical La Quinta. Clean, no frills, cheap, and free breakfast. Many places to eat near by. Room was smaller than usual La Quinta, typical for NYC. Parking in back which was a nice surprise. Only down side is no shuttle to LGA. I'm an airline pilot and this will be my usual spot when flying out of LGA early the... More

The hotel is recently renovated and everything is clean and fresh. The staff members were especially friendly and helpful. The bed linens are microfiber and feel luxurious. The room was spacious with lots of room to spread out, We were amazed at the speed and convenience of taking the 7 train into Times Square. The walk to the station takes... More

We seem to be on a never ending quest for an acceptable, moderately priced hotel in Queens to visit a child who is a student at Queens College. This might not be our "always" hotel, but it has some good things to offer. The hotel is NOT close to the college. It is, however, close to a subway line and... More

My wife and I traveled to NYC for 5 days/5 nights around New Year's 2015. As you may know, hotels in Manhattan are crazy expensive around this time. By staying in Long Island City, which is conveniently 15 minutes away from the city by subway, we easily saved over $100 per night. Smart, right? Yes and no, it turned out.... More

Beware!!! If you do not have a credit card with your name on it or cash, they will not accept your payment. I am traveling from Australia and had experience of a fraudulent transaction when I went to UK 2009 so I thought a cash passport was the way to go. I have had no problem using it at another... More

I stayed at this hotel from Oct to Dec. 2014 for work purposes. I stayed for this duration because I'd previously stayed at the La Quinta in Springfield, MA for work purposes and found the MA hotel to be suitable for a long work stay situation etc. I had to work in Manhattan and the 7 train provided a cheap...
