Have stayed twice before with no complaints. Staff is helpful and room always clean and comfortable. Not a 3 star hotel, but would account the low ratings and stars to the sketchy neighborhood. Overall convenient given its proximity to Manhattan and affordable if you don't mind traveling for tourism, shopping, food, etc. since you won't find much (if any) of... More

We stayed for 4 nights over New Years so the Comfort Inn was an affordable choice for our visit to NYC. Just around the the corner from the Queensboro Plaza sub station giving easy access to transport links to Manhattan and other areas. We bought a week pass for $31 and definitely got our money worth. We had a basement... More

The best thing about this hotel is that staff are helpful and nice and it is close to the metro so getting around is easy. The hotel itself is clean, but in need of an update. Carpets are horrendous, but the beds are comfortable. We were here for a wedding over New Years so the prices were jacked up. Had... More

Stayed here for a girls weekend in NYC, room was clean, was a good size for NYC,and staff was very nice, even though the breakfast area is small with only 4 tables, it was a great price, close to subway and again it was Clean!!! I would Stay Here Again!!!!!

A basic hotel which is fine given that it is much less expensive than staying in NYC. The staff is very friendly and the rooms were clean, although noisy, especially given the construction going on across the street. Breakfast was basic but has the essentials - eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc.

I chose this hotel because at the time of my search it was the most reasonably priced, especially considering its easy proximity to Manhattan. You frankly never know what you're going to get at the under-150 price point, but I am happy to report that this hotel was cleaner and better kept than I expected. No weirdness in the room... More

Asked for a quiet room and was given 316 at end of corridor away from the elevator. It can still be fairly noisy due to the street location but was best they had. Room and bed very good and comfortable. As mentioned in previous posts the breakfast area is pretty small so you may wish to take it back to... More

Price and Location. If you are in NYC at peak times, you will have some troubles booking anything at a reasonable rate, even using points. We were actually really surprised that the location was great (one stop from Manhattan) and the room was nice, although there was a jackhammer from about 8am-5pm each day, right outside. Not a deal breaker,... More
