Late October 2014 saw me return to New York City - this time, driving my own car all the way from Los Angeles. Having lived in New York City in the past, I already knew what to expect when bringing a car to New York City. In other words, Manhattan was out of the question if I wanted to park... More

Felt safe in the neighbourhood, not too far from the subway(10 minute walk), subway right into central area. Suburb felt like where people actually live in New York. Room backed onto parking lot and was very quite. Plenty of restaurants/food outlets where the subway line is.

My stay was in the Atlanta area, to start off I could not find the hotel and the front desk help for some reason had an attitude when I asked her for directions. I assumed she would of been helpful, but was not. The room was ok, the bathroom was an issue my second day there. What might have made... More

Stayed here for two nights. The room was relatively clean but the air was damp and muggy and the overall decor is seriously dated; read: yellowish old stained walls; everything is brown. There were stains on the wall and ceiling from old water leakage. The bathtub didn't drain water very well so after a 10 minute shower your standing in... More

Not the best hotel at all. The rooms were small and definitely need modernising. The room we stayed in did not have any working plug sockets to charge electricals and when we told the manager he didn't really do much about it. The location is average. It's about a 10-15 min walk from the subway station but once you're on... More

After hearing mixed things about the hotel, I was nervous to stay at this location, however when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. We had a late flight into JFK so we called the night before to let the hotel know that we would be coming in late...there were no issues at check in. They didn't ask us for a... More

Last weekend, we had the great privilege of staying in the Cave Suite! This lovely subterranean accommodation offers a scenic underground view of countless vehicle wheels and pedestrian feet passing on the immediately adjacent Hunters Point Ave. The constantly trickling bathtub faucet and damp musty drafts lend a sublime ambience of cavernous realism to this cozy space. A brilliantly-placed leaking... More

The hotel location was good enough, it was 5 minutes walk distance to subway station, condition and cleanliness was good, but room was smelling humudity, air condition was not working and when it works it was so loudly, walls were thin, you can here next room..you can eat waffle at breakfast but it end up 09:30..

What ever happened to good customer service and friendly accommodations? Are those a thing of the past? I wanted to treat my boyfriend to a couple of nights at a decent place that is the half-way point between my apt and Flushing while we attend US Open. I booked the hotel through Hotwire (which has always been wonderful to work... More
