This hotel is located in long island so the price is good for a new York hotel (but no less than 120 dollars/night). The location of the hotel is perfect. A subway restaurant is less than 1 minute walk from the hotel. Also a 24hours mini-market is in the corner of the street. The metro station (queensbridg) is about 5-8... More

hotel ist well positioned near the subway F (200 m); clean and comfortable rooms; 9th floor rooms (backside) with view over Manhattan beautyful; friendly and helpful staff; typical sweet breakfirst like the most hotels; breakfirst room too small even with additional room nearby; staff try to manage partlx chaotic situations caused by guests obviously with lach of basic knowledge in... All hotel staff we met were helpful and friendly. Upon check-in, Aneek free upgraded us to a two queen room with stunning Manhattan view (we booked a two double). The room was clean and big compared to typical NY hotels. The first night we arrived late at around midnight and found out we were out of tissue papers. We called... More

A clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The only real amenity close by though, is the Queensbridge 21 Street Subway stop. Unfortunately, you have to walk by a New York Housing Authority complex in a really sketchy neighbourhood in order to get there, which really shouldn't be done at night!

When we go to NYC, we like to stay in Long Island City mostly because it is much more affordable, yet one subway stop from Manhattan. This hotel is in pretty good shape and priced right, so along with the location, it meets our criteria for a stay. There were, however, a few things that give me pause, but not... More

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and large by NY standards, The bed was quite comfortable. The neighborhood is nothing special and there are few restaurants nearby, at least that we could find. But the location it is convenient to the subway and to Manhattan.

Very good hotel. Friendly staff, as well at check-inn, at breakfast, cleaning staff... Within 10 to 15 minutes you're in midtown using the F-train, subway station is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast is very good (for American standards) : they've got eggs, bagels, donuts, cereal, danish, fruit, coffee & juice. The breakfast area is not that big,... More

Rooms are small but location is superb. Early checkin was great with small kids. Able to rest before hanging out. Not able to get city view due to rooms being sold out but that's ok. Small area for breakfast but hotel is nice and clean. Surrounding area very close to subway and 24hour stores with deli sandwiches and pizza

Access is quite close to the Queensbridge metro and easy access ride away from the centre of Manhattan. The rooms are nice , and comfortable with TV and wi-fi. The front desk staff Stephanie, was very helpful and went out of the way to provide us with information on how to get around. Breakfast came with a choice of a... More

What I'd call your typical Long Island City budget friendly hotel. I've stayed in one similar (different brand - exact same layout) a few years ago, and it was a lot fresher. The location is...whatever. Is it pretty? No. Is it "touristy"? No. Is it safe? Yeah, for the most part. Is it a cheaper alternative to staying in Manhattan?... More
