Ramada Long Island City is located 3 blocks from two MTA underground stations, and if you don't mind a healthy and safe 5-10 min walk to and from there (or using a taxi, which are present in abundance in the neighborhood), you shouldn't have any problems with its location. The hotel itself is a new one, clean, with professional staff.... More

No shuttle service at all paid or nonpaid. The hotel is three blocks from the Queensboro plaza subway stop. Not too bad of a walk but not a great neighborhood to be walking late at night with young kids. Even a shuttle drive to the subway would be better then nothing. Arrived at around 4pm and immediately went to room... More

Hotel was fairly new and very clean. The price was $99 per night which is a great price compared to staying in Manhattan. Good location as the subway stop (Queensboro Plaza) is just a 10 minute walk if that. Buy the fun ticket for $8.25 and rise all day. The room was small but serviced our purpose. The walls are... Arriving at the hotel, check in was painless and we were given a room on the first floor. We had booked in advance and asked for a Manhattan view, but getting a first floor room, I didn't think the view was going to be what I'd asked for. I was wrong. We had a lovely view out over Manhattan, and... More

This hotel is great for the price you pay. Nice clean room. Very convenient when driving to NYC. The area appeared safe. We found street parking with no problem. We checked in late on a busy weekend and ended up in a basement room. We weren't too happy but what can you do? The room was clean and comfortable and... More

We were in NY for 12 nights - the first 6 nights we stayed at the Ramada. The hotel itself is, in general, in good order - small but nice clean rooms. That said, the first room we were given could easily be broken into with a credit card or hotel key. We were given a new room after we... More

We would have been happy with this room in most cities, so to get it in NYC, where anything that is clean, spacious and well equipped seems to cost a huge amount, was very pleasing. We paid only $91 a night and got something not far off 4* quality. Hotel facilities are limited and the lobby is tiny, but in... More

I stayed here 4 nights by myself and had no complaints whatsoever. The staff was courteous, the room was small but that's par for the course in NYC, the location was a 5 minute walk to 3 separate subway stations where it's a 15 minute ride to Times Square. The neighborhood is an industrial/residential but very safe. I walked to... More

The hotel room lovely - decent size and clean with good facilities - flat screen TV, fridge, coffee maker, ironing board, hairdryer etc. The bed was really comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel is in a convenient location all in all - it cost $40 from JFK. We bought a subway pass and walked the couple of... More

Everything was great until we checked out and found they charged my old credit card rather than the one I wanted them to use. They basically got very agressive and told me 'tough' as I signed something to say it was ok to use that card?! I signed one piece of paper which I assumed was to say I was... More
